Strategic Thinker
I agree with all the other reviews describing Mike as a thorough, reliable, knowledgeable and highly responsive professional. In addition, I would like to add that Mike was able to clearly describe and play out all the strategic paths and options so I could make informed decisions based on my priorities and risk tolerance. In the end, Mike got me an outcome that satisfied all my needs and, best of all, at a cost much lower than I had anticipated.

Trademark filing capably handled
Mike provided clear guidance and even-handed explanations as I navigated my first trademark filing. He listened well and took the time to understood the purpose of the service being trademarked, which I feel was reflected in the coverages we were ultimately received when the trademark was awarded. During the process, an inspector at the USPTO raised a minor issue. Mike understood the "why" of the concern, and handled it quickly. I would absolutely recommend Mike to others, and have continued to use him myself for other IP and contract-related needs.

Mike helped me with a copyright case, and I can't say enough about him. He was a great communicator, and very transparent about work hours and cost. I never felt in the dark as to what he was working on, and what the next steps were. He ultimately helped me settle my case in my favor, and I will hire him again.

Definitely recommend Mike
Mike was able to answer our many questions we had involving our copy right infringement case, kept us informed every step of the way, and responded within very short order anytime we had an inquiry or additional question on anything. He was very considerate as to how we wanted to communicate whether by phone or electronic communications and was flexible on arranging phone conversations that fit our crazy work schedules. Great experience with client/attorney relationship. We would not hesitate to recommend Mike.

Professional, Responsive, Friendly - Highly Recommended
Mike was a big help to me when I had a claim against me. He replied to every email and phone call in a prompt manner, even when he was out of town. He was very clear in his responses, but also had no problems explaining things if need be. I was very well informed in each new development of the case, which was great. I would definitely recommend Mike to someone who is need of a fair, friendly, professional and overall great lawyer.

Expert Trademark Filing Services
Michael not only prepared and filed our federal trademark application but advised us on decisions leading up to the filing and provided great assistance in communications which were instrumental in securing our trademark. I found him to be very knowledgeable, dependable, trustworthy and responsive. In addition to these professional traits he is friendly and easy to communicate with. I would definitely hire Mr. Matesky for legal services again if the need arose.
