I would recommend Jessica to anyone needing help, even if you are just wondering if you have a case. She saw me within a day, which was great because I was on a time crunch. She wasn't able to take my case because of the type of case it was. She was honest and didn't want to put me in a position o...f trial and error in order to learn a new branch of law. However, she gave me some great advice and boosted my confidence in what I thought was a grim outlook for me. I paid Jessica Pedemonte a $100 fee for an hour consultation starting at 10:00 A.M. She led me into her office at 10:10 and then completed the consultation at 10:40 for a total of about 30 minutes. During the consultation, I told her about a case that I wanted an advocate for with DHS. Rather than te...lling me what all of my options might be, she concluded before knowing any of the facts that I would lose a case with them (she did not even mention I could defend myself in a case with them), and then tried to convince me that losing is not so bad. The issue had to do with child custody, and she tried to minimize the importance of custodial rights without knowing any details of my situation. I had to bring up the possibility of particular options, but she did not pursue these very far and frankly seemed unwilling to help me. Contrary to her claim on her website, she is definitely not an aggressive advocate, and she charged me for an hour's time but only spent 30 minutes with me.
