Rude pushy and ready to hang up
Don’t bother wasting your time, he says he will give you an hour to talk on the website but he told me I have less than 2 minutes when he I was trying to explain the situation.

Replied last September 01, 2022I am sorry you had this experience. We do try to give everyone time. I do hundreds of these calls each year for free and I do have to limit my time. I am not sure who this is or the specific call. What I can say is at times I have listened for more than 2 min and the caller can at the end of 10min has not really articulated the general nature of their problems. On those calls, I do have to cut them short. If you want to call me again I will try to do better.

Replied last September 01, 2022I am sorry you had this experience. I do my best on the calls. I do not remember this call. I do hundreds of these calls and I urge you to look at my other reviews. Most of the calls I get are from women. While I do not challenge your experience of the call I can say I do not treat women or anyone else differently. I will say this. I get calls now and again where the caller takes the position that I should do "X or Y or Z." Many times these folks are really smart and have done a lot of research before they call. The problem is that it is not possible to know as much as a trained attorney who has decades of experience from doing your own research. When I get calls like that I normally cut them short. I do not want to be rude I just know from experience it will not be a good fit. Again, I am sorry if you felt I was rude.

Be very leery of this attorney! He took my case and purposely drug it out for months on end. When I would try to discuss this with him he was very aggressive to me to the point I didn't know what I feared more him or the person that was trying to sue me. Since this horrible situation I found a wonder...

What is left out is that when you came to us you were within days of having a summary judgment motion granted for lack of having a response. That means you would have lost automatically. We worked hard to get the case stabilized and won the summary judgment. You wanted us to take the rest of the case on a fixed fee. I declined. Again, sorry you are still so upset a year after this all happened. I am very glad you found a lawyer you like to work with. Best to you.

Hung up on me, during phone consultation
I was excited to get a call but, when I told Mr. Scannell that my home was an Original 2008 COUNTRYWIDE LOAN, he chose not to speak with me any further, and hung up.

I remember this call a bit differently but again I am sorry you had a negative experience when seeking my help. If you want to call me and take this off line please do. Sometimes in loan situations which are over a decade old it is very hard to not be barred by the statute of limitations. Terry

Lacks ability to respond and to take on new cases in a timely manner.
It took him almost a week to respond to my case. He asked to hear more details about my case, and over a month has gone by now and I still have not heard back from him. In the meantime, I have been helped out by other lawyers who were interested in taking on my case. I would not recommend this lawy...
