I write this as a beacon of hope for anyone who’s found themselves in a legal situation which threatens to take their very life away and is now reading this post, seeking help when all seems dark and hopeless.
I had gotten arrested for one of the harshest crimes imaginable, one with prejudices and biases built into its very essence and carries with it a stigma that follows a person for the rest of their life. With the world crashing down over me, I was referred to a former OC District Attorney whom I had been told would be the best qualified to take on my case. What I didn’t know at that time, but quickly realized, is that he was the ONLY attorney that had the legal acumen, boundless knowledge, and commanding presence in the courtroom that was needed to get a positive outcome for me in the end. In retrospect, I can honestly say that Brian was brought into my life by God, and I am truly appreciative for the miracle he was able to perform for me.
My first meeting with Brian (the day after our first conversation over the phone) occurred on a Saturday, a day he could have been spending with his family, but, instead, met with me to get started on my case. As I pulled up to his office that morning, I saw him standing in casual clothes, waving to me as if we were old friends, with a smile that reassured me that he would do everything in his power to get me through my nightmare.
Brian and his associate Kyle have dedicated countless hours to my case, far exceeding my expectations, a true testament to their commitment and integrity, caring more about the client, not merely remuneration in exchange for peace of mind.
I would not be a free man today if it weren’t for Brian’s unparalleled expertise as well as compassion. He is the only attorney you want in your corner when the odds are stacked up against you and your life is on the line!
Kyle, a special thanks goes out to you for the individual and sincere efforts you put forth on my behalf that had a direct impact on the outcome of my case. From the beginning, you made me feel protected and safe, never allowing me to lose hope. You and Brian are the ultimate power team!
Brian, THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING! You were THE hero in my darkest hour, and because of you, I can walk with my head held high again. YOU DID THE IMPOSSIBLE!!!

Wow, where do I start? Can I really add to the title of this comment?
My son was charged with two felonies with enhancement in 2014.
This was actually an act of self defense but the O.C. District Attorney's office, will do anything to win a case, at all costs. Beware!!
We immediately hired a criminal defense attorney from Beverly Hills but were not pleased with the result and the perpetual continuance of the case. 18 months passed and the D.A. in their effort to 'win', was taking the case to trial. I was desperate! How could this be happening?!
**On a side note, I am an event producer in O.C., and in 2016 I did an event for a local group of defense attorneys, 200 of them**.
I shared my frustration with the president of the group, she recommended I contact Brian Gurwitz right away. She said; "If I was ever be in trouble, I would call Brian".
She gave me his cell phone number and I texted him. To my surprise, he responded right back!
We met with Brian and he was not your regular high and mighty lawyer, he seemed humble, warm, caring and very very knowledgeable. We retained him the next day. We worked with Brian three months, because that is all it took him! Three months to resolve the problem that was changing my son's life. Brian met with us multiple times, always called and emailed with updates. He answered every text message in a personal and kind manner, explaining everything thoroughly. I am a mom you know....
He also recommend a very good investigator, to find out the facts of the case. Brilliant move.
Brian appeared in court several times with my son. Always Brian, not an intern or an inexperience lawyer. He was savvy, bold, and new the ropes well. He challenged the O.C. District Attorney in their game, and the felony case was dropped to a misdemeanor.
Brian Gurwitz, is not cheap, but, when you are in trouble, you don't want cheap, you want awesome!! At the end of the day, he does NOT nickel and dime you to death. For a flat fee, he will take you to pre-trial, he is totally worth it!
I thank Brian Gurwitz, so kindly and with all my heart. I admire professionals that are EXCELLENT in their field. I admire people that have a HEART as they do business. I admire people that
have work ETHIC and are HONEST and AMAZING at what they do!
If you are looking for criminal defense, do yourself a favor and hire Brian right away, don't waste time or money going elsewhere. You will not be disappointed!!

When I picked up 3 serious felonies at 18 years old, I was convinced that my life was over and I'd ruined it before it had really even begun.
Fast forward 5 years; I spent 6 months in jail and 2 years in rehabilitation. I began the process as a young punk and came out as a grown man with hopes and dreams to be realized.
Today; I'm 23 years old and I just finished my associates degree and am now fielding admission offers from both UCLA and UC Berkeley. The world is my oyster again. None of this would have been possible without Brian's natural altruism and belief in redemption. He didn't have to help me and he did- and not for a payout. He did it because he believed in me and saw that I could have a great future and contribute to society if given a second chance.
Thank you for everything you've done Brian!

I can't put into works how my attourny has changed my life, but I will try my best. Mr. Gurwitz was able to successfully expunge my entire record. It was. A total of 5 cases all felony's with 1 prison conviction.
He worked very hard and was Initially only able to expunge 4 of the 5 cases because of the prison term.
It he did say he would work until he could get the last one expunged and he did. Almost a year later he called me and said we had the opertunity to fix he last case. Now I am felony free and able to persu my career.
I can't thank him enough.

Originally, I hired Me. Gurwitz for what I believed was going to be a state charge. When I found myself facing a federal indictment, Mr. Gurwitz stayed by my side and explained very clearly how the process was going to be different than state charges. I was informed that my co-defendants' attorneys charged them additional fees for being a federal case - Mr. Gurwitz did not do this and stood by his original quote. Over the duration of my case (4 years) Mr. Gurwitz remained professional and was always available whenever I needed him. He responded quickly and always kept me informed. Mr. Gurwitz always went above and beyond to make sure that my needs were met. For instance, when I had issues with my real estate and an unrelated charge, he did not hesitate to advise me on these issues either. I truly feel that Mr. Gurwitz cared about my outcome and helping me. I didn't feel like just "another client." Even after my release, he helped me take care of other legal issues and get my life back on track. He even continued to keep in contact with me to make sure that I was adjusting okay. I highly recommend Brian for Any legal needs that you may need. I personally know how stressful these situations are and you want to make sure that your attorney is someone that you can trust and genuinely cares about your well being and success. Brian Gurwitz truly cares about his clients and goes above and beyond.

Brian was one of the most professional and hard-fighting people me and my family had ever met. He was referred to us and was described as a "bulldog" and I can personally say that he lived up to his description. He won my case and I will never forget the things he did for me and the kind understanding way he treated me and my family.

I was referred to Brain Gurwitz by a friend from graduate school. After obtaining my MSW degree I wanted to get some convictions (older than 10 years) expunged from my criminal record. In order to be eligible for certain jobs in my field it was essential I petitioned the court and make these requests. I began working with Mr. Gurwitz in the middle of 2016 and he successfully petitioned the courts of Orange County to request hearings for record expungement. By the beginning of 2017, Brian contacted me with the good news; all of our requests were granted!
I have received services from other attorneys in the past and I thought Brian was especially exceptional at listening, understanding my needs, providing honest feedback about my opinions, and keeping me informed of everything along the way. After consulting with several attorneys about this expungement request I was advised my cases were "complicated and very costly" due to them being spread out into two courts however Mr. Gurwitz and his assistant expressed optimism about achieving my goals which is one of the reasons why I plan to contact them for all my legal needs in the future. I am excited to have found a team willing to fight for the outcomes I want. I am so grateful for the quality services I received in 2016-17. I would highly recommend Brian Gurwitz to anyone looking for a strong professional team to achieve your legal goals/desires.

Words can't explain how genuine and caring Brian is. After our first meeting I knew I was in great hands. When you get falsely accused of doing something you did not it is a horrible feeling. I got falsely accused of sexual assaulting a women. The whole process was about a year and Brian took steps in order to ensure that I was going to be safe and not mistreated. I put all my faith and confidence in Brian and the case ended up being dismissed by the District Attorneys office. Brian made tense and stressful situations not so stressful anymore. Throughout the process I realized Brian was not just a lawyer he was a friend. Anytime I needed him when I was feeling depressed and stressed he was there to help me. To make sure I was ok and everything was going to be alright. I couldn't imagine having any other lawyer than Brian. His knowledge and experience is incredible. Brian's character always brought me up when I was feeling down. He was available for me 24/7. I will always consider Brian now as part of my family. I will always refer Brian because he is the one that is going to help you get through it all and keep your head held high.

I had a complicated case with a run-away DA being fueled by a vindictive ex. Brian worked with me through every step of the process, ultimately resulting in a full acquittal. He was knowledgeable, easy to work with, and ultimately delivered a great product. I don't think there is a harding working lawyer, and his diligence paid off by presenting a fact set that was far superior to that of the DA. His calm demeanor allowed him to connect with the jury, while still being tough on witnesses.
I strongly recommend working with Brian should your situation call for a defense attorney.
