Ms. Darrow has worked with law firms ranging in size from three to over six-hundred attorneys and has extensive experience representing individuals and businesses of all sizes. Ms. Darrow has represented companies in a wide range of cases, including construction defect lawsuits, habitability and toxic tort litigation, land use and real property disputes, product liability litigation, and personal injury and premises liability matters. Ms. Darrow also has a broad background in general business and commercial law with an emphasis on litigation and corporate operations, and has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in breach of contract, real estate, labor and employment, copyright infringement, medical/dental malpractice, and insurance coverage matters, as well as in landlord-tenant disputes.
Working with construction industry clients, Ms. Darrow has provided advice on compliance with California's mechanic's lien laws, prepared and enforced mechanics' liens and bonded stop notices, and represented clients in actions to collect on unpaid invoices. Ms. Darrow also has experience with bringing claims against the estates of bankrupt companies and defending clients in lawsuits brought by the trustees of bankrupt companies.
