Ms. Reynolds handled my case with care, efficiency and due dilligence. We were successful all due to her efforts. I do not believe I could have done it without her! As a lawyer myself, I appreciated her professionalism and passion.

After just receiving the letter from EDD stating that they had determined that I was not eligible for benefits because I was terminated for misconduct. I was in a state of shock, fear, and filled with anxiety. In addition, EDD sent a 2nd letter saying that the benefits that I received are now overpayment and tacked on a penalty fee on top of that. On my last day at my job, II was told by my former employer that I was being let go because they wanted to go in a different direction, but then they go and report to EDD that I was terminated for misconduct. I contacted Michelle soon after and she was instrumental in calming me down and helping me break down the events that occurred. She explained to me the laws pertaining to my situation and helped me see how I can win my appeal and receive my unemployment benefits. When I met her in person, her passion and expert knowledge of employment law made me feel like I had a good chance of winning my case. Throughout the process, Michelle was always sure to keep me updated on the latest events of the case and made me feel that she cared about my case.
Being unemployed can be a stressful time. Compound that with having to fight EDD and your former employer for unemployment benefits makes things worse. I am very happy to have hired Michelle as my attorney. I credit winning my EDD case to her hard work and expert knowledge.

Michelle Reynolds exceeded my expectations as she guided me through a very stressful time dealing with the Administrative Law Judge's decision to disqualify me from receiving unemployment benefits. I contacted Ms. Reynolds for legal advice on overturning the ALJ's decision and she was very thorough, knowledgeable and passionate about my case which she felt very confident that I would win my second appeal. With her guidance and advice, I won my second level appeal. If I could go back and go through this again, I would have hired her immediately to win the first appeal, and save myself the stress of going through the second level appeal process. Not only is she highly intelligent, she truly has a good heart and you can trust her to be the best attorney who will fight for you and win!

From my first conversation with Michelle, I could tell that she was born to be a lawyer. While most people would be bored to tears by the peculiarities of the Private Attorney Generals' Act (PAGA), she spoke of the law with reverence typically reserved for Shakespeare or Harry Potter sequels. In all seriousness: if you're looking for someone who is passionate about their practice and about your case, Michelle should be on your short list. She's definitely on mine for employment law, labor, and administrative matters.
