Had my Back
So this was my first time EVER hiring a lawyer. I didn't really know what to expect but it was a lot more comfortable than I thought. I felt like i had a bodyguard. Someone who is hired to fight for me and protect my interests. She did that, she wanted me and us to come out on top. We got a decent settlement, we could have fought more but i didn't want the drama and the risk. She provided solid advice on risks and options. Also, she was very creative with some settlement ideas too. She thought of stuff that I didn't even consider, I guess that is the experience. She is very responsive and fair with billing. If i have more drama with my franchisor (which I really hope I dont) She will be my first call!!

Very Knowledgeable, Thorough and Provided Great Service!
Janet was a pleasure to work with on the review of a franchise agreement I've been considering. She went above and beyond with her research and provided an extremely thorough and informative review of their documents. She also provided her personal insight and comparative information from similar agreements she's reviewed. The best I've ever dealt with!
I had 2 prominent franchise attorneys before I found Janet. She is very different than my other attorneys because she paid great attention to the detail of my situation to see what area we should be attacking even when I didn't even see it for myself. Highly communicative, considerate, and professional
Ms. Martin represented me as well as provided counsel regarding the closure of a franchised business. Whether pressing developments such as a lawsuit required expeditious response, or I simply requested advice, I found it effortless to contact and communicate (primarily by email), and receive prompt and meaningful response. Ms. Martin is clearly very knowledgeable in her field, and did not hesitate in every applicable situation to provide a brief list of possible options and anticipated outcomes, with both optimistic and sobering realities. I understood and felt that the consequences of the decisions I made were my own, while supported to the fullest extent in proceeding with the situation through her expertise. Ms. Martin is abundantly conscientious in her assessment and billing of her time, providing both detailed invoices, as well as quotes ahead of time (per request, which I made). I can easily say there was no single item invoiced without clear and obvious value. I must also state that Ms. Martin shared great compassion for myself and family. She demonstrated keen awareness of my personal situation and motivating factors, and acted with true respect and empathy for my personal limitations in terms of willingness to pursue certain avenues of action.
