Biography
Melody Parman graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). During her undergraduate studies, she was elected President of the Political Science Club. She was also selected to represent her school in the prestigious Model United Nations program and traveled across the country participating in research to formulate political positions on actual policies of the countries she represented. She was awarded several honors for her public speaking, debating, and critical thinking." She attended California Western School of Law in San Diego, and finished a three year program in only two, graduating far earlier than her peers.
Starting her professional career, Melody joined Avrek Law Firm, which is located in Irvine. Since 2010, she has advocated for victims of severe and catastrophic injuries. "The files I manage are not just cases to me, they are lives." Her firm has also been awarded membership in the highly coveted Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Multi Million Dollar Advocates Forum, placing the attorneys in the top 1% of firms in the United States. She has been a member of several legal associations in the community, including, California Applicants Attorneys Association and Consumer Advocates of Los Angeles.
In 2014, Melody was selected as one of The National Trial Lawyers Top 40 under 40 attorneys in the United States. Membership is extended to only 40 trial attorneys in the State of California a year. She is presently noted as one of the top trial attorneys in the State of California under the age of 40.
In 2014, Melody was also selected as Dewitt, Algorri and Algorri's trial attorney of the year. She was lead counsel representing a client who suffered injuries against the County of San Bernardino. The case has been reffered to as the "Bridge to Nowhere."
In 2015, Melody was selected to the 2015 Southern California Rising Stars list, an honor reserved for those lawyers who exhibit excellence in practice. Her honorship will include mentions in Southern California Super Lawyers Magazine- Rising Stars, Los Angeles Magazine, Orange Coast Magazine and Los Angeles magazine, The Top Women Attorneys in Southern California.
In 2015, Melody was chosen to receive the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys, Inc. prestigous Top 10 Under 40 Attorney award for the State of California. Awards are giving to only 10 attorneys under the age of 40 a year.
In 2016, Melody was selected to the 2016 Super Lawyers Rising Star list. Her honorship will include mentions in Southern California Super Lawyers Magazine- Rising Stars, Los Angeles Magazine, Orange Coast Magazine and Los Angeles magazine, The Top Women Attorneys in Southern California.

In 2017, Melody helped faciliate the largest settlement in California history for a minor with severe injuries for $45 Million dollars.
Melody is committed in representing her clients and relishes the competitive challenge. Many of her clients are minors under the age of 18 years old, and the aspect of representing children provides the greatest satisfaction in her career.
