Unwavering Perseverance

Following my deceased husband's wishes, I contacted Katrina through a reference from the community page of Vietnam Vets & Cholangiocarcinoma. Immediately I knew I was in good, efficient, knowledgeable, professional and caring hands. We were successful 100% due to Katrina's unwavering perseverance. ...Thank-you from the east cost.

Vietnam Success Story

On August 10, 2015 my husband David W Baierl had surgery to remove a tumor on the left side of his brain. After having difficulty with his speech, a trip to emergency and several test (Cat Scan and MRI, the doctors found a mass which was later known to be Glioblastoma Multiforme Grade 4. It’s a fas...t growing and very aggressive type of cancer. A few weeks his after surgery Dave started radiation and chemotherapy. He was very brave as he went through several months of treatments and followed by more MRI’s. For a short time, the tumor (most was removed during the surgery) had shrunk considerably. That didn’t last long. The MRI showed it was growing and broke through the scar tissue from the surgery and began to spread. We decided to try electric field therapy. Patches were applied to Dave’s head and I had to change them every other day. Dave developed a terrible infection and had to discontinue the therapy. In May 2016, we contacted the VA in our county to ask if Dave’s cancer could be connected to Agent Orange. His type of cancer was not on the list of cancers caused by the use of Agent Orange in Vietnam. We contacted Katrina Eagle (Veteran Attorney) and she agreed to take our case and help my husband. She kept in touch and walked me through forms that needed to be filled out. She called several times to let us know how things were moving along. In December 2016, Dave was granted full disability and received a check which included back pay from the day he was diagnosed. Katrina Eagle is the most caring person and is dedicated to working for our veterans. Dave was able to see the results. He passed away April 18, 2017. He was a loving husband, fantastic father and grandfather and was always proud to be a Vietnam veteran. He loved his country. Thank you Katrina for all your hard work and moving the process along so quickly. God Bless! Carol Baierl

A Powerful Advocate

Katrina Eagle is a dedicated and skilled attorney committed to helping veterans receive the benefit entitlements they are due. I have seen her compelling and effective conference presentations educating professionals, government officials, advocates and individual veterans alike. She is a tireless a...dvocate with a strong track record of accomplishments with veteran agencies and coalitions.

Very caring, exceptionally dedicated advocate.

Katrina is a very caring, exceptionally dedicated advocate for those of us that have had loved ones die with service related conditions.  She walked me through the steps needed from my initial filing to the documentation and backup information necessary to make my claim viable. With her representatio...n, I received my benefits within a year which was very unusual.  You will be in very good hands if she chooses to represent you.

Dropped out of the Blue

She told me she could get an increase on my claim based on errors made on my rating. She said all of the evidence was already there for an increase. Then she asked for more information and I was unable to find a doctor to give her the information she was requesting. Out of the blue, she sent all o...f my files back leaving me in a lurch while awaiting an appeals hearing.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"Attorney Eagle is nationally recognized for her work for disabled Veterans. I attended the legal education class she provided to our Massachusetts chapter of elder law attorneys, and she explained how Veterans benefits can be obtained and coordinated for elderly veterans and their spouses. If you are a veteran who needs to resolve a VA claim, you would be fortunate to retain Attorney Eagle."
