Each case is personal to her. She's a fierce advocate for benefits for Veterans and survivors!

When we were told of his terminal diagnosis from cholangiocarcinoma, my husband, a Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veteran, said to me adamantly and repeatedly. ‘You contact the VA. They’ll help you.” I was unprepared for the challenges that I encountered over the next ten months. Following the claim proces...s on the VA.gov website, I spent hours, days, weeks carefully completing the multiple VA forms, gathering and submitting ( uploading) the required documentation. No matter how much I submitted, there was always something else needed. It was nearly a year into the process that I became aware of Katrina Eagle, through a chance encounter with another Veteran widow, who had such praise. I submitted the information questionnaire on Katrina’s website. Within 48 hours she called me. Just hearing her calm demeanor gave me a sense of peace I hadn’t felt from the time I started the VA process. When she agreed to accept my case, it was as if the weight of the world was lifted from me. She managed ALL communication with VA, forwarding copies of everything to me. When another denial was issued by VA, she was aggressive in her rebuttal to VA, all the while positive and encouraging with me. In the course of the next year, she did an amazing job. She discovered several errors VA had made in my case and responded to them immediately for correction. Without her , I would never have known of the VA errors, and the denials would have been ongoing. She got results. My DIC claim was approved a little over a year after Katrina took on my case. It's clear that each case is personal to her, as evidenced by the pure joy in her voice the evening she called me about the approval. She is a fierce advocate and a true fighter for benefits for Veterans and survivors.

One Grateful Veteran

Like many Veterans, I filed a claim with the VA for a host of illnesses, to include two bouts of kidney cancer, which resulted in the removal of half of my right kidney and complete removal of my left. As a result, I have been on daily dialysis for the past two + years. After receiving the VA rejec...tion letter, I spoke with an old Air Force buddy and close friend who several years ago also filed and was rejected. He told me that after fighting the VA for nearly five years, he reached out to Attorney Eagle. Attorney Eagle took his case and began the appeal process which resulted in a 100 % service connected ruling from the VA. I put off calling her and my buddy kept pestering me to pick up the phone and to give her a call. Finally, I quit stalling and gave her a call. I knew within the first minute of speaking with her that she was a fighter and that her mission in life is helping Veterans like my buddy and I to get the benefits we deserved. We talked for a good 30 minutes and then I heard her say “You have a case “. That’s all I needed to hear. She went right to work on my appeal and within a reasonable amount of time, I got the call that the VA had reviewed my appeal and I was rated 100 percent service connected disabled. I could hear in her voice how excited she was to be able to tell me that. So, if you are looking for someone to help you appeal the VA denial of your claim, you should look no further than Attorney Katrina Eagle! If she takes your case, she will work her heart out to get you the benefits you have earned and deserve. She will stay in touch with you every step of the way and will always respond to your calls or email. She is simply an amazing Attorney and a real champion for Veterans and their families. Give her a call - you won’t be disappointed!

True Heroes fighting for Veterans like me!

I served in United States Air Force from 1970 – 1974. I was stationed at Anderson Air Force Base in Guam from 1971-1973, as fuel specialist. During that time, I was exposed to many different toxic chemicals including Agent Orange. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2011 and then two years late...r with thyroid cancer, the residual effects dramatically affected not only me but my family. After speaking with a representative for the Missouri Veterans Commission, I submitted a claim for exposure to Agent Orange. That claim was immediately denied. After this denial, the representative suggested I seek legal representation and was given the name of Katrina Eagle, Esq. Veterans Law Attorney. Little did I know then the dedication, tenacity and compassion this woman would show me for the next ten years! Over the course of the last ten years, numerous denials, frustrations and moments of utter disappointment and lack of the energy to continue this fight occurred, however Katrina was always there never wavering in her support and encouragement to not give up the fight. The Board of Veterans Affairs (BVA) denied our claims several times, the cases were then submitted to the US Courts of Appeals not once but twice and both times the Courts sent them back to the BVA for review. Thanks to Katrina and Jim Radogna’s continued support, knowledge and empathy for me, I am now at 100% disability. Never could I have imagined this outcome and will forever be thankful for their continuous support and encouragement to never give up the fight!

Absolutely the best!!

I am a Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veteran. I filed my claim, and was approved, at 100% P&T. For that, I had another attorney as my representative, but she had nothing to do with my case... more on that, to come. Something did not sit right with me, about the effective date of my claim. I questione...d my attorney, and she said, since I was rated 100%, there was nothing to be done... not true. I learned of Katrina Eagle & Jim Radogna through the BWNVVA... I knew they were hard-working attorneys, who put the veteran first. I contacted Katrina, and asked her to review my case. She said "Sure thing", but said I needed to make her my representative. I said no problem... not quite true. My old attorney did not want to release me... she said I was not due anything, but she would not release me. That led me to tell Katrina about the issue. She advised me as to how to proceed.. It was a long, hard-fought issue, but in the end, my old attorney released me... with a nasty letter that said I was not ever going to get any more benefits, anyway... again, wrong answer. As soon as I was released, I made Katrina my VA representative. She and Jim jumped right on the case, and she said that it looked like VA had assigned the wrong effective date to my case... the old attorney would not even review the case. So, Katrina & Jim filed a Clear Unmistakable Error (CUE) with VA. About 4 months later, VA sent me another $13,000.., WOW!! I was stunned. Both Katrina & Jim were very happy for me. That was not the end, though. Ticked off that my old attorney had put me in the situation, she asked my permission to sent her a letter expressing her displeasure about the way that she had handled my case. She was exceptionally professional. If you are in need of an experienced legal team, who will go to work for you, and fight for your benefits, you can do no better, than The Law Office of Katrina Eagle.

Excellence

Katrina was highly recommended by our VA counselor, so I contacted her to help us through a disability claim. From the start, she struck me as extremely competent and organized. She always returned emails and phone calls promptly and kept me up to date on the case. She succeeded beyond all expectatio...ns, and then went further and got us more benefits. I rarely give five stars to anything, but I have no hesitation giving them to Katrina. With a plus!

"Attorney Eagle is nationally recognized for her work for disabled Veterans. I attended the legal education class she provided to our Massachusetts chapter of elder law attorneys, and she explained how Veterans benefits can be obtained and coordinated for elderly veterans and their spouses. If you are a veteran who needs to resolve a VA claim, you would be fortunate to retain Attorney Eagle."
