I am a Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veteran. I filed my claim, and was approved, at 100% P&T. For that, I had another attorney as my representative, but she had nothing to do with my case... more on that, to come. Something did not sit right with me, about the effective date of my claim. I questione...d my attorney, and she said, since I was rated 100%, there was nothing to be done... not true. I learned of Katrina Eagle & Jim Radogna through the BWNVVA... I knew they were hard-working attorneys, who put the veteran first. I contacted Katrina, and asked her to review my case. She said "Sure thing", but said I needed to make her my representative. I said no problem... not quite true. My old attorney did not want to release me... she said I was not due anything, but she would not release me. That led me to tell Katrina about the issue. I was a Marine stationed at Camp Lejeune in the 1950’s. I drank and showered in the toxic water there for two years. As a result I developed 3 cancers linked to the chemicals in that water.
