She saved my sanity

I was a Marine stationed at Camp Lejeune in the 1950’s. I drank and showered in the toxic water there for two years. As a result I developed 3 cancers linked to the chemicals in that water. I applied for VA disability benefits but was quickly denied, despite the fact that the VA admitted such cance...rs were linked to the Lejeune water. I appealed and was denied again. I was 81 years old at the time and didn’t have the energy to fight the VA any longer. As a last resort before giving up I googled up local attorneys in San Diego and chose one, namely Katrina Eagle. I had no idea at that time that I chose the best attorney in the country specializing in VA issues. Within a year and a half Katrina and her husband Jim worked diligently and tirelessly on my behalf, relieving me of the stress of dealing with a fettered VA bureaucracy. She appealed my case and got me rated at 100% for full compensation, which included tens of thousands of dollars in retroactive benefits. I can’t be more appreciative of Katrina and Jim. I highly recommend them to any veteran needing help with the VA to obtain the benefits they deserve and earned. My children and I thank you Katrina and Jim, God bless you both. Bill Bartsch

Veteran's Law Attorney - Simply the Best!

After speaking with numerous law firms who purported to “help veterans,” not one would take my case. Then a friend referred me to Katrina Eagle. Attorney Katrina Eagle demonstrated profound care and empathy for my case at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Attorney Eagle displayed incredible leg...al expertise in VA law as well as passion for helping veterans whose requests for benefits and treatment for injuries suffered in combat have been denied by the VA. When the VA denies a valid claim, or worse, grants benefits and then 6 months later reverses its decision for no apparent reason, veterans who fought at the sharp end of the spear feel angry, hurt, betrayed and confused. As enlisted infantry in Afghanistan, I had dealt with the Taliban up close, but was unprepared to cope with a VA that rather than support me, caused me more stress than a firefight with ISIS. Attorney Eagle provides a caring ear even as she represents veterans’ interests before the VA with a clear-headed and straightforward approach to the law. Katrina’s knowledge of the VA and her many contacts throughout the country make her singularly qualified to represent veterans. Attorney Katrina Eagle changed my life. She took my case pro bono without even meeting me, and began to achieve results almost immediately. While my case took nearly four years to resolve, she never stopped fighting (even when I was ready to give up) and achieved a positive outcome on all fronts. I recommend Attorney Eagle without reservation to any veteran who needs help getting the VA to do the right thing. Former Infantry Sergeant, U.S. Army)

THE BEST

Attorney Eagle guided me through 4 years of disputes with the VA and we came out victorious on the other end. What more can I say? Call Attorney Eagle. I would say this even if my case resolved unfavorably because she puts her heart and soul into veteran's issues. Erik

OUTSTANDING VETERANS ATTORNEY

I highly recommend Katrina Eagle as a Veterans Attorney. I have been an advocate for a group of veterans who are dealing with a specific cancer related to their service in Vietnam. Because of Katrina’s willingness to go above and beyond what she is required to do for veterans, she has been invaluabl...e in guiding and providing me with information regarding the best way to assist veterans with this cancer. When many of the veterans in my group have given up on the VA due to years of denials, and decided to have Katrina represent them with their claims, she confirmed her expertise and knowledge in dealing with the VA, as she was able to get their claims approved. In addition, her empathy and compassion to the veterans and their families is unparalleled. To anyone who is considering Katrina Eagle to work on his or her behalf, be rest assured that you are in good hands. I know that I would not want anyone other than Katrina Eagle to represent me. VA Appeal Testimonial

From my first introduction to Katrina Eagle, I was pleased with how responsive she was to my needs, even anticipating my concerns, apprehensions and questions - responding to emails and phone calls even at night and on weekends. Katrina is a highly trained, incredibly effective attorney not only ...with her thorough knowledge of the law but also with her organizational skills, mastery of the English language, interworking of the Veterans Administration, contacts and vast wealth of experience. All of this was topped by being a truly caring individual who’s belief in what she is doing comes through in all of her work and interactions. You get the feeling your case is more of a vocation than a job. Ms. Eagle is a solid gold individual whom I am proud to call my attorney, and more importantly my friend. She worked an uphill appeal for me in a bureaucratic government agency toward a successful end result in a very acceptable span of time, which I never thought possible. Thanks, Robert

"Attorney Eagle is nationally recognized for her work for disabled Veterans. I attended the legal education class she provided to our Massachusetts chapter of elder law attorneys, and she explained how Veterans benefits can be obtained and coordinated for elderly veterans and their spouses. If you are a veteran who needs to resolve a VA claim, you would be fortunate to retain Attorney Eagle."
