Mr. Joshua J. Price has a high level of integrity. He was always honest with me, keeping me informed of the progress of my DUI case and the likely outcome of the proceedings. When I gave him my statement, he really listened. He believed my side of the story and because of that, he took this case on with full force. He found discrepancies in the police report, the police statements and discovered questionable procedures that they did not follow in the testing of my blood for the alcohol level. I was charged with a DUI with a BAC of .19 and Mr. Price was able to get my blood results suppressed. Furthermore, Mr. Price was able to win my DMV hearing on a .01% action. I had my license back in 90 days. There was a plea bargain for my sentence, but Mr. Price felt he could win it all. I made a decision to drive home one night after a holiday party while very intoxicated and was pulled over and charged with a DUI with a BAC of .187. The night was not my greatest moment. Not only was I charged with two counts of DUI, including the high BAC, but I was also charged with obstructing/re...sisting an officer. I refused the breathalyzer and so the officer obtained a warrant that night to draw blood. From the moment I saw those flashing lights in my rear-view mirror my nightmare began. I am a successful, ambitious, energy healer - I try my best to lead a life of truthful integrity. So this was a HUGE wakeup call for me to see where I was living my life out of integrity. California's stance on DUI is excessively punitive and borders on profitable racketeering. So, it's a bit of a paradox, yes, I should not have been driving and could have hurt myself or heaven forbid- someone else and I deserved to learn a hard lesson; at the same time, the inhumane way I was treated that night by the officers and jail staff was completely unethical, against the law, and violates my rights as a human being. I decided that I wanted to fight for myself and what is right, and do whatever it took to clear my name. Joshua then filed a motion to suppress the blood evidence and we brought in an expert witness to testify. The judge ruled on my behalf and the blood evidence was suppressed. Both counts of DUI and obstructing/resisting an officer were dismissed. ALL CHARGES DISMISSED! I truly believe had I not hired an attorney or had I hired a different attorney I would be experiencing a 1 year hard suspension, a DUI, fines, 5 years probation and all the rest of the punitive consequences. I did decide to take the 3 month DUI classes during the process, but because my case was dropped I would not have been forced to... I've learned a couple great life lessons here. This last one- is sometime you have to fight for yourself and you don't have to fight alone. First and foremost, I just wanted to state that Mr. price is a god send! I was probably in one of the most difficult times of my life when I got a DUI & he absolutely exceeded my expectations in the end. Long story short, I have a bit of a checkered past. I’ve been arrested more than once and literal...ly JUST got off probation prior to getting arrested for the DUI. I was driving from Oc to Sd when I all of a sudden lost control of my car and totaled it into a tree on the FREEWAY, yes a tree on the freeway...with FOUR breathalyzer tests exceeding over DOUBLE the legal limit. I was beyond hopeless at this point and immediately began researching attorneys. The reviews are what drew me to him and I can 100% say they are ACCCCUUUURATE. Mr.Joshua Price Offered Great Service Of:Compassion Diligence And most importantly honesty To My boyfriend and I Our interaction with their office highlighting the fact that My Boyfriend was facing a 2nd offense DUI with a violation of probation from his 1st DUI. He blew a .10 on a portable brea...th test and a .10 on an evidential breath test at the station. He was facing severe penalties including minimum jail time, high fines, public work service, 90 days of SCRAM and a 2 year loss of license. Mr. Price saw some issues in his case and told him to not take the plea deal being offered to plead guilty to a 2nd offense DUI. We filed a motion to suppress evidence and prior to that hearing he was able to get me a plea deal to a non-DUI offense where I did not have to do any jail time, public work service, no license suspension, no SCRAM, and a $846 fine instead of a $2600 fine.
