One cold night in January, I pulled over on the side of the freeway because I thought my tire was flat. As I got out to inspect it, a CHP officer was lurking behind me. He asked if I needed any help. I told him I had AAA and I was going to call them for help. He asked if I wanted him to call it ...in. I didn't want to be rude, so I told him that he could. That was my first mistake. I went to my car and got my AAA card and DL out. After some routine questions from the officer, he felt I was under the influence. I declined taking the breathalyzer test. So he gave me some field tests. Once the tests were completed, he told me I was under arrest for DUI. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. My life was over. My family, my work, my friends. I was in complete shock. I went to Las Colinas, and I had chosen to take the blood test there. I waited to get bailed out and went home. Won't go into any details about the ride home w/hubby. A few weeks later, Mr. Price went to court that day to tell them we were ready for trial and the DA informed him that they were dismissing the entire case! I was arrested for DUI and tossed in Jail. I started looking for a good attorney the next day. I interviewed several and decided that Joshua Price and Defending Rights Law Center was the right choice. I’m so glad I did. The State of California had a pretty good case on me. A legitimate stop ...and blood evidence that I was DUI. I was in trouble. If you’re reading this, I guess you’ve recently had a similar experience. You need a good Attorney. Not only does the State charge you with a crime, but the DMV does it’s own separate administrative thing to take your licence away. A good Attorney like Joshua Price will represent you for both of those engagements. I won’t bore you with detail. But I will tell you that Joshua Price did a great job for me. I didn’t have a great defense but he found opportunities to challenge the case against me through very hard work and investigation. From a wife's perspective: We had a blown out tire and while waiting for the tow truck, my husband and I had some drinks. We didn't know that the blown tire had slightly injured another vehicle (literally, a scratch). When the tow truck had finally arrived, the owner of the other vehicle approache...d us and accused us of drinking and driving (almost 2 hours after the incident).
