Joshua James Price

On August 2018 I made a decision to drive home after drinking at work event. I did not allow myself enough time to metabolize the alcohol in my system before I elected to drive. I was subsequently pulled over by CHP (one mile from my destination). I was compliant in my whole interaction with CHP, bu...t being unfamiliar scenarios like this, it’s very difficult to know what tests you could refuse to take. I was eventually placed under arrest, and taken down town where I elected to submit to a blood test. I charged with two counts of DUI with a BAC of .117 and spend a night in jail. After I posted bail, I immediately got on the web and searched for lawyers in San Diego. I stumbled upon Joshua Price’s page and started reading his reviews. Mr. Price’s reviews depicted his client interaction as genuine, informative, reassuring, and included very positive court results. Reaching out to Joshua Price and his law office was the best decision I made. These are the points that stand out during the course of my case: • Very accessible and timely • Outlined clear instructions and timeline to prepare my case • Realistic expectations and outcomes • Price competitively for pre-trial and trial work • Supportive and knowledge office staff (Amanda) We were looking at an uphill battle with my case, as my incident was almost a perfect textbook example of a DUI stop. Mr. Price was realistic and upfront with me as he outlined my options. Getting the case dismissed on a technicality or prior to trial was not likely. Fighting the case in trial would at best leave me with a 50/50 shot in either getting both counts dismissed or being convicted on both counts. We elected to submit a plea and see if we could get the charges dropped down to a WET. After a few back and forts with the DA and the court we were able to get my plea deal accepted. I ended up getting: • WET with a .117 BAC • My fine reduced by $500 for my time served in jail • 3 years’ probation • 3 month DUI first offender program Amanda Jew provided me with clear and concise information so I could apply for a restricted license and enroll into my DUI program. We were able to time my driving suspension around our holiday break to minimize the time I would be without my car. By the time I could apply for a restricted license, I was able to enroll into my 3-month program, and get the official results from the court. Mr. Price and his team where instrumental in making this chaotic time in my life easier to navigate. I intend to work with his office when I become eligible to expunge record. I highly recommend Mr. Price and his office should you find yourself facing DUI/DWI charges.

Joshua Price and his assistant Amanda were a real blessing for me in a time of great difficulty. Mr. Price was always available to talk with me regarding my cases (4 prescription med DUIs within 6 months, including collisions), and advise me. He handled everything professionally and with great exper...tise and skill. I never had to go to court or to the DMV hearings and he or Amanda contacted me straight away to inform me the outcome - which was always favorable. I did not get a felony and did not have to go to jail (only home detention). Just DUI classes, pay a fine, and MADD class. He even reduced his fee since I was wracking up so many cases in a short period. To all who think this is a fake review... This is a real case that occurred in March 2017. I simply wish to leave an anonymous review. After the incident, I was devastated and could not believe what had occurred in the early morning (I'm sure all of you who were first offenders probably felt the sam...e way). I knew I had to hire a lawyer and after seeing many positive reviews about Josh Price and his team, I decided to hire him as my lawyer for my case. At this moment in life, I am extremely glad I made the decision. Mr. Joshua Price and his team were highly professional throughout my case and even though I had many questions, they were able to answer with a very quick turnaround time. After months and months of fighting for me, Josh was able to grant me an opportunity into a diversion program and approximately a year later, my case was fully dismissed! With all the factors against me (i.e. .166% BAC, officer's probable cause to pull me over, failing field sobriety test, etc.), I cannot be more grateful to where I am today. I'll leave this one last note... For those who are in the same predicament as I was and for those who are considering to hire Mr. Josh Price as your lawyer, understand that he (and anyone else for that matter) will not be able to guarantee results. However, also understand that he will fight for you until the conclusion of your case. He is not a lawyer to waste time and will give you the straight forward answer with no fluff. There was an incident that occurred where I was involved in a collison, the other party has suffered minor injuries. My BAC was 0.194 and I was facing some serious consequences with possible prison/jail time. I was very shaken up and worried about the situation that had just occurred but luckily I di...d find Joshua Price. When it comes to legal representation, I have to say Joshua Price was outstanding. We found him through Yelp, and we contacted him, and we got a reply the same day, not just a reply, but we met him the same day. He was so gracious and attentive when we had our first meeting, to where I knew that he is a good person for representaion. When I first met him, I felt so comforatable and welcome, that I knew that this is the right attorney for representation. He is completely direct and to the point in all matters, all my questions were thoroughly answered, any of my doubts were talked about in depth. Any question or concern I had was answered the same day. He went through all the court procedures and processes with me in depth and laid out an outline, to where I was able to have a good understanding of what was going on. Mr. Price was always punctual and on time, to any court meeting or office meeting. He dealt with the judges respectfully and with a high level of integrity. Mr. Price was able to get my felony reduced to a misdemeanor after 18 months, which was a huge sigh of relief. I also did not have to fave any jail/prison time due to his representation. Joshua Price is definiely a GREAT attorney. No detail is excluded, no situation is overlooked, he treats your case like the only case he has.  I would recommend Mr. Price to anyone looking for representation, he went far and beyond of what was expected, and I not only consider him a great attorney but also a good friend.

Mr. Joshua J. Price has a high level of integrity. He was always honest with me, keeping me informed of the progress of my DUI case and the likely outcome of the proceedings. This case was challenging but he was determined to WIN. Mr. Price did his research -- not only legal research to find prec...edents and other cases with a bearing on his, but also circumstances that the police may have not done by the book. I had been drinking and totaled my car. I was arrested and taken to jail. I knew of Mr. Price so I gave him a call. He answered the call right away. He was always easy to get ahold of. When I gave him my statement, he really listened. He believed my side of the story and because of that, he took this case on with full force. He found discrepancies in the police report, the police statements and discovered questionable procedures that they did not follow in the testing of my blood for the alcohol level. I was charged with a DUI with a BAC of .19 and Mr. Price was able to get my blood results suppressed. Furthermore, Mr. Price was able to win my DMV hearing on a .01% action. I had my license back in 90 days. There was a plea bargain for my sentence, but Mr. Price felt he could win it all. The overwhelming number of legal cases are settled out of court but we wanted to proceed onward. We did. And we were successful…. In our court hearing, it was like we were in a TV show. He was so professional with quotable documents lined up on our table to rebuttal anything thrown at him. Court came to order and Mr. Price began. It was the best thing I have ever witnessed. I have learned so much from Mr. Price. Among other things, not to get into a mess like this again. He cared about me and my well-being. I would recommend Mr. Price to anyone who needs the best and the most caring DUI lawyer in San Diego County or any surrounding counties.
