My daughter is looking at a 1st degree attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon (not a firearm) a knife. She was in the early stages of schizophrenia our family didn't know what exactly was going on with her just that she was not herself , she's has a young daughter and the father of they...'re child was not helping with our situation with my daughters strange behavior needless to say we had never had to deal with mental illness this was all foreign to us . And it was a fight to get any help for my daughter being on government assisted insurance is difficult to get any lasting peace with something new happening every day with my daughter her father was in total denial about the whole situation, I. Knew she needed to be examined and put on some kind of medicine that would stop the voices or atleast quite them down my daughter was going insane until she finally lost it and out of no where stabbed a complete stranger in the stomache and was saying the voices were telling her to do it and she was sorry . Thank God she didn't kill him ,I'm sure if she had been on the right medication this would have never happened my daughter is so painfully shy and I know her truth this is her first offence for anything she has never been a problem child very sweet wouldn't hurt a fly , she dropped the knife and the police came and arrested her this was on April 4th 2024 and my daughter is still in jail as I speak her truth . Her father got her a lawyer but did it so quick that I'm not sure if he even knew what kind of law Mr Bodow had been practicing mostly DUI and Military issues I wasn't sure if he would be the right lawyer my daughter needed for this case , this case is extremely serious and I'm not saying she hadnt made a major mistake that has been life changing for everyone involved. Our family's lives are in limbo and hers is the most . Since she has been in jail she has been taking her medicine on regular basis and I hear my daughter again she was extremely mentally ill at the time this incident happened she wAs not in her right mind , She will always have schizophrenia she needs to be educated and treated for her illness not locked away. She needs to learn how to keep her illness managed with medication . She understands the importance of taking her medication she is horrified over this whole situation and is very remorseful for the person she assaulted . The DA has not lowered the charges and at this point my daughter is looking at 10 to 15 years in state prison for that horrible day . I hope Mr Bodow knows how much our daughter means to us , and will fight for her. She is being over charged and the DA needs to charge her right this is a ridiculous charge for a person's 1st ever offence in her life with exstinuating circumstances she obviously was not in her right mind and was suffering from a major breakdown of her mental illness. She is her self now that she has been taking the medication on a regular basis. I hear it in her voice. I have not been able to see my daughter since that horrible day. Please Mr Bodow please get my daughter a just verdict. She has a young daughter who will be grown up when my daughter gets out of prison if the DA has her way. I hired Mr. Bodow for a friend's DUI and he did a great job and then again when I was charged with Marijuana distribution in 2014. After my arrest I had my girlfriend find an attorney. She mistakenly hired Mr.Bodow knowing I had used him in the past. She dropped off 186k in cash to him. He hired a f...ederal attorney for me with 70k since he has no experience trying federal cases. He then attempted to keep the remainder of the funds and was unreachable for over a year so I was forced to file a formal complaint with the CA bar association. The day before his license was to be suspended he called me at the jail. He pleaded with me to withdraw the complaint and offered to return part of the funds. I accepted whatever I could and consider myself lucky to have received anything. I'm giving a brief overview in the hope I can possibly save some future grief and misery for someone. I'd recommend him for DUI's or minor traffic related crimes but given his blatant dishonesty I'd say run the other direction.

I really don't know where to start. Being in the military, I was facing and administrative discharge due to an alleged article 112.a. This man and his associate Jeffrey Wayne Carver put so much dedication into my case. Eventually there was so much reasonable doubt in regards to the case, my command h...ad no other options but to dismiss all alleged charges. I would highly recommend this attorney to anyone in the military facing alleged charges. In addition, he helped me with my response to Department of Defense (DoD) Consolidated Adjudications Facility to keep my security clearance. Because of him, I still have my career, dignity, and a fully reinstated security clearance!

The worst night of my life occurred on July 2018. The police officer pulled me over because I stopped over the limit line. I told the police officer that I had four beers and dinner with some friends. I was arrested for a DUI VC 23152(a) with a .064 BAC level. I felt like a criminal going through the... fingerprint and mug shot process. I was referred to Mr. Bodow from a family lawyer. He assured me that there is more to the story. On October 2018, I received a phone call from Mr. Bodow. I can't thank him enough. He got the DUI dismissed and the charges reduced to a traffic stop infraction with the option to go to traffic school. All along, Mr. Bodow believed in my innocence and work diligently to his satisfaction to make me a happy client. I highly recommend Mr. Bodow.
