Outrageous

My case is incomplete. Last contact with anyone re: case was Dec 2022. Now it's mid April 2024. I hadn't been billed anything thus far. I recently reached out for refund on $4500 retainer. I spoke w/ Paul once, a year and a half ago, and never met him. Little was performed on my case, a fax or an ...email perhaps. I was told I was getting a refund of $2000. Shameful. $2500 FOR WHAT? I requested to speak to Paul about this, to no avail. How well can an attorney be doing when he's stooped so low as to financially abuse their client?? I've reached out to ABA, as my first step to the return of my retainer.

Run the other way

Paul is brazen and very confident, yet does not pull through in the end. He does not know the tenants of family law, and hinges his entire argument based off of his blow-hard ability to argue. To say that Paul changed the outcome of my life for the worse is to put things very lightly. Paul too...k on my family law case, telling me that there was no issue with the case and that there were no bounds for it. That it was basically an easy win. I spoke with about 25 other lawyer prior to hiring Paul. They all agreed. I went with Paul because he was middle-of-the-road in terms of price. I figured, hey, there is no bounds for this case, but I'm willing to spend a little bit more money to make sure there are no screwups. Big mistake on my part. He didn't take the case seriously, and not only did we lose, but I lost my son. I lost all legal rights to my son, and most of my physical custody rights. I am now paying an exorbitant amount in child support. I have no idea if Paul is any good at criminal law. He told me that he is. He took on my family law case, and didn't appear to realize that the burden of proof in family law is much lower than criminal law. He had no idea. We had 2 witnesses present at the hearing that Paul never called upon. I had gathered evidence showing credibility concerns against the petitioner. Paul never submitted it. When I told him we need to submit this evidence, he argued with me and told me it didn't matter. Paul never asked me for my version of the events at the hearing. Paul brazenly told me we would be done with the hearing by lunch. It went until 4 PM. At the end of the hearing, the judge reported, "because we don't know respondent's version of the events, we only have petitioner's version to go off of. Therefore, respondent must have committed the allegations." I had no idea that I was supposed to give my version of the events. That's why I hired Paul. So that he could steer me through the confusing waters of the law. He steered me straight into a hurricane sized storm, and then abandoned the ship. If you are considering Paul, do yourself a favor. Run the other way.

He's the Best!

Mr. Neuharth recently defended my son in a jury trial. My son was initially charged with three counts that would seriously impact his career. And these were charges my son was completely innocent of. From the first meeting with Paul, he worked hard - always for my son's benefit. He and his staff ...(Ryan, Christina, Ava) were always professional, organized and available to us. We just finished a three day jury trial and my son was found NOT GUILTY of all charges. I would highly recommend Paul for any type of criminal charge situation. He is simply THE BEST.

Excellent Criminal Defense Attorney

As a consultant, I have worked with many defense attorneys over the years. Having worked with Paul in a professional capacity, I can state that he is a very detail-oriented and well-prepared attorney who knows how to get at the heart of the matter and accurately and efficiently present the client's ...side of the case in the courtroom. Highly recommended.

Superman is all I can say

I've never been in trouble with the law, work with kids, have 3 kids, have a great life, surf all the time, and had a couple of surf punks set me up and basically was going to be charged for battery and assault with a deadly weapon. This group had tried to get me, I avoided issue for several years, ...but they finally got me. Next thing I know I get a letter and I am going to get fingerprinted with a potential year in jail.....not to mention they were setting me up for a lawsuit. My wife had spoke with someone who knew Paul and I called him. I never had never been in trouble with the law, never had to defend myself, and didn't know Paul. He felt confident he would get me off but I wasn't 100% in yet. The DA was new, got sick, assigned to another DA, delays......all not Paul's fault but it dragged out because of the DA's so I became anxious. Paul asked me if I wanted to go into court and just get it done and I said "no way am I going to sit in a court room like a criminal with people looking at me." I know a lot of people and I work with children and I didn't do anything. There is no way I am going to do that. The next morning he left me a message and I lost it. He got the entire case dropped, vanished, disappeared, and I lost it. I am not an emotional person but I choked up and I cried...a little. I don't cry. I couldn't believe it. Boom. It was over. I was so mad that those surf punks had dragged me into this situation for months but just because Paul got me off didn't stop the danger of me having to confront them again, especially with my 8 year old son. I asked Paul what I can do to keep them away from me. He suggested a restraining order and I said let's do it. Again, another delay by the judge because I had too many witnesses, but that wasn't Paul's fault. Another month but here we go. Now I'm in an actual court room. Never been in court other than traffic tickets. He has everything planned, gets my witnesses up there, performs the most magical feat I have ever seen (I didn't realize what he was doing until afterwards but more importantly the guy I was trying to get the restraining order didn't know either). By the end of the freaking hearing they mistakenly admitted to everything they denied because Paul did some reverse psychology on them and they then became proud to admit their faults because they didn't want to admit the other one and then "BAM" he got them!!!! Case closed and I won my court case with no traces and he got rid of a piece of trash that had been hassling my family. He's a great guy, he's a winner, and someone I am grateful for and admire. Thanks Paul. I am a surfer and have my surf lingo but there is a reason I call you Superman. I know people can say positive or negative things about attorneys and I have no idea what other type of cases you do, I suspect mine was small change, however you took care of me, you took care of my family, and now my family can go to the beach that they grew up on without being bothered. I am forever indebted and extremely grateful for what you did for me. Thank you
