About me

In 2010 Matthew Paré opened his own law firm, the Law Office of Matthew Paré. By focusing on his own legal practice, Mr. Paré will now be able to best serve his clients.  The creation of his law firm followed numerous exceptional academic accomplishments and tremendous work experiences.

Originally from Orono, Maine, Mr. Paré attended college and earned a B.S. and M.A. in psychology from Northeastern University and American University. While in college, Mr. Paré received a Presidential Scholarship and graduated fourth in his class of approximately two thousand graduating students.

Immediately prior to attending law school, Mr. Paré worked as a professional political operative for the Republican National Committee, where he was appointed as the Get Out the Vote Director for the State of Maine in 2004. After achieved tremendous success at grassroots organizing, the White House political leadership transferred him to be the Director in New Hampshire two months before the election. In this position, Mr Mr. Paré was one of the youngest RNC statewide directors in the entire Nation, and the only one in the field to oversee two of the targeted swing states. Mr. Paré continues to have a strong interest in civic life and the political process.

After working in politics, Mr. Paré went on to attend California Western School of Law whereupon he graduated magna cum laude in May 2008, finishing in the top ten from the entire graduating class. While in law school, Mr. Paré was selected to serve an Editor of the California Western Law Review/International Law Journal and earned a merit scholarship. Mr. Paré was also one of only two student representatives chosen from the law school to be a part of the American Inns of Court, a prominent organization which has a mission of improving the skills, professionalism, and ethics of the bench and bar.

In addition to his tremendous academic accomplishments, Mr. Paré gained invaluable practical experience while in law school by serving as a Judicial Extern at the Superior Court of California, San Diego County. In addition to working in the court’s civil system, Mr. Paré also clerked for several private civil litigation firms during law school.  After working for several civil law firms where he was exposed to plaintiffs’ work and defense work alike, Mr. Paré decided to accept an offer at Berman & Riedel, LLP for the first year of his legal practice.

In his experience as an attorney Mr. Paré has successfully resolved serious personal injury cases and business litigation matters. Mr. Paré continues his primary focus working in civil litigation, where he will continue to bring with him to work his exceptional drive, work habits, life history of exceptional achievement, and passion for service in helping others.
