The lack of compassion and professionalism that Mr. Hernandez displayed towards my family and I was down right distributing. Mr. Hernandez briefly represented me in a family law case agiast me and my soon to be ex-wife. Where we share IVF conceived son . Same sex marriage After never being a...ble to get a hold of him, he would go weeks without returning phone calls. Sometimes it got so bad I’d have to from different numbers just for him to respond. Due to his lack of preparation, mr Hernandez was supposed to file paperwork with the court on my behalf opposing said motions. And we went to court the judge had informed him that he never filed a response with the court after a least a 3 months continues . She also said we ran the risk of her granting all of their motions because he NEVER filed a response. And when I inquired he asked me who my son (Father) was. And I said he was a ivf baby noted in my file he doesn’t have a father but has 2 moms . Then proceeded to ask if I knew my sons father. I mentioned again… my son doesn’t have a father hes a donor baby. He was trying to see if he could split custody 3 ways. Which was bizarre, and not appropriate at all He also mentioned he never filed a motion because he was saving me money. So I was confused on what I was paying for. And when I asked more questions, he said we can substitute out and hung up on me. When dealing with family law you must understand that these cases are extremely complex. Treated my case more so as corporate law I plan to file further action with state bar.
