Attorney Usher and her team are very thorough and detail oriented. We appreciated their explanation of the various parts of our Estate Plan, the succinct recommendations and advice, and their thoughtfulness of ways to make our estate plan EFFECTIVE when needed. We also like the interaction with their... office and feeling of being in a long term relationship, not just a transaction. We would recommend USHER LAW GROUP to our family and friends!

I attended one of Ms. Usher's presentations and I was struck by her honesty and her personal story. It was very infomative and left me with an overwhelming feeling that I needed to make sure my affairs were in order. I have cousins who should benefit, half siblings who should not and a church that I... want to continue to support. The Usher Law Group provided me with the service I needed. Charlene says that just because you "talk" about what's going to happen after you pass, doesn't mean you're going to pass any sooner. That took the fear out of it and allowed me to focus on the importance of avoiding unnecessary probate costs.

I was referred to this firm through my families life long CPA. We trust him and he has shown nothing less then professionalism in the 30 plus year of work with him, so we moved forward with his suggestion. The first interaction with the firm was ambiguous and unclear of the next steps to set up a con...sultation. Initially, I emailed them for them to reach out to me. I did not hear anything so I called them (i had to follow up with a phone call on all of my interactions with the firm) to indicate my interest in family assets protection. I was instructed that I should set up a consultation. I was apprehensive because I was not sure if I needed there services. I asked additional questions. I was told I could only ask the lawyer these questions and I would have to pay $350 (which I was told was discounted :/) to ask the questions. I would like to emphasize the secretary was always condescending and rude in all of our phone interactions. I paid the money and when the appointment which was via conference call (which I also feel is unprofessional, lacked personal connections). I join the call on time and the attorney was 8 minutes late and did not apologize for her tardiness (extremely unprofessional). After 5 minutes of me speaking to the attorney, I know the services they offered were not what I needed. However, I was made to feel like I did not know what I wanted. One incident when I was explaining what I wanted, I was told since I did not have assets amounting to Will Smith, I would not need those services. Additionally, I was told since I was not an attorney, I was not knowledgeable of what I needed. This was insulting and lacked customer service and professional. This was the worst experience I’ve had with an attorney. I wanted to support a black business instead of going through my employer which would likely not be a black business, but my experience was so horrible, I am just going to go through my employer. I would never never never recommend Usher Law Group to anyone. If I could give them less then 1 star I would. Horrible.
