David Hull Ricks

a small business owner and hired David H Ricks for a business matter. I started the process around 3 years ago and the case is still going. I want to write a honest review about the type of service we are experiencing at the moment with this attorney. I was very excited to contact him since reviews... looked great on yelp which solidified my decision to hire him. Our first phone went well, I felt happy with my decision. I gave the attorney a retainer $$ for him to start working on my case. However, after that phone call everything started going downhill. I’m currently feeling very frustrated and disappointed. David has charged me thousands and we’re still in square one. I don’t get any updates on my case. If I want to get information about what’s going on I have to chase the secretary (or whoever answers the phone) only to find I the she doesn’t know anything. The staff and attorney are pretty much unresponsive, but they don’t miss a date to invoice me for payment. A few months back David supposedly schedule an arbitration meeting with the opposing party where I needed to be present. I took the day off I showed up to the meeting on that given day only to find out there’s was no arbitration meeting. It had been previously canceled but David nor the staff care to notify me. I just wasted a day of my life. Today, we’re still in square one but with a lot of waisted time and not to mention wasted dollars. I will updated this review when service is complete this attorney

I personally want to take this opportunity to thank David Ricks and his entire staff for the unbelievable support and encouragement during the last three years of my malpractice lawsuit. The staff and David were always there to answer all my questions and help direct me in all the right directions wh...en needed. I have been hospitalized 20-plus times since my incident and the staff was always in touch checking on my every need, we had many days of tears and many days of prayers but they were always by my side. David assured when the time had come that I received the maximum amount plus much much more. I spoke to Mr. Ricks on the phone and he sounded like a decent man. He said come in for a meeting but could not see me for a week. So, I scheduled an appointment and came to see him. We discussed the case, and he said he would send me the retainer agreement shortly. A week went by and did not hear fr...om him. I followed up; then he replied he was too busy to take on my case. In all fairness he recommended other attorneys. However, I chose to find another lawyer on my own. This was not a contingency fee arrangement; therefore, I was very disappointment he was not forthcoming and wasted 2 precious weeks since my deadline to take a legal action was fast approaching. He seemed like a descent man and I have been thinking whether to give this review, but I felt I have a moral obligation to share my experience.

Not only have I had the honor and privilege of working for him in the past, but he represented me once regarding a small matter and did an outstanding job. Mr. Ricks puts his all into every case and personally devotes countless hours of his time and atten...tion to making sure that your case is handled with absolute precision. Not only is he an outstanding attorney, but so is his staff. They are always informative and helpful in keeping you informed as to the status of your case. This truly is a great firm.
