Plaintiff was run over by a truck while working at his job as a heavy equipment operator at a Los Angeles landfill. Plaintiff's left leg was caught under the rear tires of the defendant's vehicle. Th ... e Plaintiff underwent several surgeries and nearly a year of rest, therapy and treatment. Mr. Hurtado's recovery was successful, with some limitations. After extended and multiple mediations, the case was settled for an acceptable sum. Additionally, the worker's compensation lien was successfully negotiated for the benefit of Mr. Hurtado.
