Yousef Monadjemi

I hired Yousef Monadjemi to evict a tenant that is living in one of my properties. We agreed on a flat fee of $1500 which included up to a half day of court. But when the tenant requested a jury trial, he became upset and refused to continue working on the case unless I gave an additional $10,000. I ...was shocked and When I asked him why I need to pay him an additional $5,000 when his flat fee is $1500 he became hostile and started screaming at me for being cheap and that he stops working on the case until he get the additional $5,000.

It is rare to find both honesty and efficiency in a lawyer and Mr. Monadjemi exemplifies this lofty combination. I was overseas and my apartment was occupied by renters who'd stopped paying their rent. I was very fortunate to pick his name out from the yellow pages: cold and without recommendation.... Traumatizing is how I would describe the recent experience with my landlady. Our apartment building was full of mold and water damage, and this awful woman tried everything in her power to avoid fixing the problems, including attempting to evict tenants in multiple units. I, unfortunately, was one of... these tenants. After constant harassment from The Landlady from Hell and a court date looming, I had to find a lawyer. We went through a mediator and the landlady tried to pull some moves, but Yousef showed up like a boss and handled the situation. It was like having a friend stick up to the bully in school for you. The case was dismissed with prejudice. Throughout the entire process, Yousef answered all of my emails and responded right away. I was thoroughly impressed and am forever grateful to him.
