The Law Offices of Scott A. Miller, a Professional Corporation prides itself and committed to representing only employees and plaintiffs, never defendants. We are very "little guy friendly." This simply means, we represent minimum wage earners and any other employee who has been legally wronged by their employer. Unlike other attorneys who look for the quick settlement, we litigate until success has been achieved. To put it bluntly, the Law Offices of Scott A Miller, APC is a "no nonsense" law office that does not take "crap" from employers. It is our goal to help the "damned, tormented and wronged" employees. Although we can't promise you the outcome of your case, but do promise you will be represented by caring and aggressive attorneys who are concerned about you.

Extremely Helpful
Our case was a slam dunk however, the nonsense of the opposing team, took us longer than expected to close. Scott went well above and beyond to calm my nerves with his surprisely astonishing sense of humor. I would definitely recommend Scott, Five Stars all the way!

Joe, then you contacted AVVO for a refund. Really? Actually, you were looking for a method to save money by not paying employees properly. 1) I did not get answers like what legal path should I take 2) I didn't get an idea on what are the chances of my employer to win the case if they decide to sue me. Whether I am on strong or weak side 3) I didn't get an idea as to which State will govern my case? California or New Jersey?

Replied last July 16, 2016I remember your issues fairly well. There were many that would far exceed your understanding as they were based on other states civil procedure in addition to your requiring an opinion on the outcome of a lawsuit between you and your employer. I cannot tell you if you're employer is going to sue you or give you the outcome of a jury trial. I try to give you the best advice I can under the circumstances and would have no other reason to do less than that. I'm sorry my advice was less than you expected.

Replied last July 15, 2016Please understand that it would be impossible for any attorney to tell you the potential outcome if you were get sued by your employer. This 15 minute session is for a limited opinion at most under certain circumstances. I always try to get the best advice that I can under the circumstances.
