I am an employment lawyer in California. I started my legal career in 2001 after a successful public service career as a firefighter and paramedic. I founded my own law practice in 2004, and I've represented literally thousands of laborers, trades and crafts workers, licensed professionals, labor organizations, and small business employers in all industries throughout California's public and private sectors.
I handle cases involving unpaid wages and overtime, unlawful discrimination or workplace harassment, wrongful termination, administrative defense of licensed professionals, trade secrets, employment and civil litigation, workplace investigations, and class actions. I've recovered millions for California workers, and successfully defended really tough cases.

He cares about his clients and he fights very hard to make sure they get the best outcome possible.

Joe is an excellent lawyer who truly cares for his clients. He will work hard towards the best solution to resolve your legal matter. Joe and I met when we attended the one month long Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers' College in Wyoming. I was very impressed by Joe, his devotion to his cases and to becoming the best lawyer he could possibly be. He is a proven leader in his field. He was instrumental in resolving an important case that I was working on. If you have an employment or other civil matter, do yourself a favor and hire Joe. I endorse this lawyer. I had the privilege and honor of working with Joe Rose over the course of a two year period on a very complex and difficult matter in Federal Court. Joe is a remarkable and talented lawyer in so many areas, it's difficult to know where to begin in recognizing his abilities. His insight, wisdom and zealous advocacy were remarkable and of tremendous benefit to both my and our mutual client. I would entrust any client of mine, as well as my own case, to Joe to handle.
Douglas Rothschild, Employment and labor Attorney on Mar 14, 2014

I endorse this lawyer. What sets Joe apart is his ability to connect with people. He is a retired firefighter and because of that, he puts people and client's first. He is top notch litigator with tremendous knowledge of both CA and Federal law relating to labor, employment, and worker rights. He has training through Gerry Spence's trial lawyer academy, giving him a skill set most attorneys don't possess. Any lawyer who is willing to run into a burning building, is the kind of lawyer I would want on my side.
