Lance is THE BEST hands down, w/ child custody.
Lance developed a game plan the Friday before my Monday morning hearing. At 4:50p.m. Overall, the associate attorneys Lance directed did a good job, worked long hard hours, & genuinely fought for my 2 yo son to kept out of the unsupervised care of his violent father. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough. I regret terminating services the last day of trial because I felt I was not being heard. Opposing counsels salacious lies were excessive, impossible to keep up
With & convincing even to me. I was overwhelmed, caring for a new baby, & failed to provide much supporting documentation for anything really. But I felt like I knew more aboit my case, & could do better, so I terminated Lances services. Foolishly. Rudely. They still didn’t give up. Answered my emails, gave advice, etc. Even on the last day, final hearing I requested to no representation before the xoie, Charlene & Tim stayed on the line the entire hearing, free of charge, to hear what the orders were. I lost everything in the next 3 months, including custody of my very attached baby boy, shortly after his 2nd birthday. He knew when he went with his Dad what was in store for him, crying, screaming, etc. He fought hard, regressing in speech to 1 word “mam”, now rapidly shakes his head no, squeezing caregivers necks at exchanges 2 months ago, before he was taken by police 8/6/21 to live with his Dad bc I didn’t follow orders of 50/50 & missing the last hearing.
I don’t see that I’ll ever get him back.
I regret not keeping this office on my case, failing at handing over all medical reports & photos as uncomfortable & full of shame as they made me. I’m sorry for not answering their calls, or a helping them with answers they requested. Because now it’s too late . I’ve had no contact for over a month with my child. I’m not on drugs (all negative yes results), not mentally ill ( psychiatrist & counselor for PTSD verifying this), provided a happy & healthy living environment, & met all basic child needs. I am a credentialed teacher. I can’t comprehend how this can happen to innocent KIDS. But it did.
Without Lance & his team, my angel was placed in grave danger almost IMMEDIATELY. I didn’t have a chance to say anything. I was refused a guardian ad litmum, continuance to respond to a declaration I wasn’t served, & my son hasn’t had any contact w his mother’s in a month. It’s a nightmare that never ends. I wish I told Lance how lucky I was, gave the staff everything they asked for, and timely. I wish I never let them go. My innocent Landon will never recover. There was never any evidence or proof to any of my ex’s claims, yet he was recently granted a DVRO, potentially blocking me from
my son for 5 years, the reverse of what was on the table when Claery & Hammond were my attorneys. Out of all the attorneys Lance was THE MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE, REALISTIC, HONEST, & COMPASSIONATE. A child doesn’t have ANY guarantee at getting just & fair orders. Eevery parent has an obligation to protect their child’s interests through competent representation, WHO wil fight in their behalf, aggressively.. Lance, Tim, Eli, Charlene, & Elizabeth did that, until I stopped them. It was the worse mistake of my life. Hire this firm the second you get the chance.
