About 2 months ago I got into a bit of trouble. No need to go into the details aside from saying it was a combination of me being stupid with someone falsely accusing me of something. Anyway when things calm down I was able to get ahold of Michael. By the time I talked to him I've already spoken with... five or six Attorneys at Great length. True, Michael was very assertive on the phone. But he knows his stuff! He was not demanding nor was he unprofessional or pushy in anyway. He is an absolute professional that is incredibly connected with people he needs to be. He acted swiftly and aggressively and with integrity He told me to just trust him and let him do his thing. Which he did! He took care of all I needed to get done. Yes, possibly a bit pricier than the others I spoke to. However, in hindsight I don't think I would be this comforted if I had chose anyone else. I would very very highly recommend Michael anytime you or your loved ones get in trouble. If you are looking for a "nice" lawyer, you may want someone else. BUT if you need a good lawyer, a professional, he is the one. I was arrested for a domestic violence case. It may be less critical compared to other felony cases, but it was critical enough to complicate my situation given my immig...ration status. I had called a lot of lawyers for consultation - I had to either talk to the assistant or leave a voicemail. I was very frustrated because I did not get any calls back from those lawyers. But Mr. Kraut called back. I made an appointment right away and went to his office the next day. In less than five minutes, I immediately knew that he had a lot of experience and that he loves his job. He walked me (and my husband who was on speakerphone) through the process and listed out possible consequences, etc. He was constantly reassuring and confident. Again, in less than an hour after signing a contract, he and his staff was able to figure out exactly where my file was and what to do to make my case rejected. And he did.
