This past year and half has been an excruciating and heart breaking time, I lost my job suddenly for what was the biggest shock of my life while I was the only one working. A month later I got the most disturbing letter of an outrageous accusation from my former employer. I was stressed, distressed, ...to be honest and just plain confused, crying with my wife, trying to make sense of it all. Again the wait began and I received a letter with a court date since the case was at the District attorneys court, now that the investigation had concluded from the Law enforcement side. This was the climax of my stress levels, imagining all those shows you see on TV. Spoke to the law office immediate and they got a hold of the information right away that it was a premature letter sent, that my case was still in review. I was already preparing for the worst, making plans with my wife and family about a possible long trial and all the grief associated with it. And Atty Hankoff and Atty Kraut did all the communication with the DAs office and Law Enforcement as they always had. Today early in the morning. I get a call from these amazing Attys. Your case has been completely rejected by the DAs office. I went home to celebrate my daughter's birthday. She had 2 episodes of 5150 and I wanted to be there for her on her special day. I thought the day was going to be normal. I had a verbal argument with my boyfriend and did not know my daughter was not taking her medications. We did not know she cal...led 911 and the police were in front of my door. I highly recommend Michael Kraut! I was being wrongly investigated for insurance fraud and did not have the evidence to back up my claims. This could have gone to court and I could have faced severe consequences not having the resources to go up against a big insurance company. I found Mr. Kraut onl...ine and called. He answered the phone on a Sunday morning and very close to Xmas! He agreed to help me and agreed to a lower rate because of my financial situation. He worked with me to craft a defense and in the end he not only got the insurance company to stop their investigation, but proved my innocence to the point that they PAID MY CLAIM! I was an idiot and drove my car after drinking fillable cups by friends. I had no idea how much I drank, but I can tell you the amount was enough to total my car.... and damage a parked car. I called Michael Kraut once I got out of the drunk tank. He answered my call (I think it was even during hi...s dinner). He told me to come meet him in the AM, which I did. I was in a state of anxious, almost paralysis emotion. He was very professional, and gave it to me straight. I told him the deal, and while he couldn't guarantee any outcome, I felt good with him and his team representing me. I worked with his colleagues and they made me feel very comfortable. On top of that I went to a MADD seminar and attend a 9-month class, two hours a week. This will soon be over for me. And every time I've reached out for a question of any kind, they always, always got back to me in a timely and respectful manner. I found myself on the wrong side of the law in September 2019. A situation turned horribly wrong and I found myself being charged with a felony offense.
