My experience with Kraut Law Group was excellent!!! Words can not express the gratitude that I have for Michael inwhat he has done for me. I was arrested for DUI in Montebello (LA County) and I was driving at around 95-100 mph. That was the worst day of my life. It was my first DUI offense. I though... have a prior record for speeding. I got arrested and was in jail for almost a day. I went through a very difficult phase when deciding which lawyer should I get to fight for my DUI charge since after reading the implications of DUI, I was really scared and horrified since DUI is very very serious and I believe I had made the best decision in chosing Kraut Law Group. I found Michael Kraut Law group online and went through various reviews. I saw his education profile (Harvard Grad) and was really impressed and decided that I will give him a call and discuss with him about my case. I called him and he returned my call within 5 minutes. I went to talk to him personally at his office and he listened to all the details patiently and explained me the whole process step by step and supported me all the way and I decided to have him defend my case. He kept me in the loop in the whole process. Michael is not your typical lawyer; he is very friendly, upfront, VERY VERY knowledgable in his work, down to earth, and has a sense of humor. He treated me not as a client but as a friend. I used to get really scared about losing my job as well as the DUI affects on my immigration status but Michael always used to tell me not to worry and everything would be taken care of. He gave me 1st happy news just after 1-2 weeks of the day of my arrest and told me that I will get my license back. He represented me in the court, which resulted in a significant dismissal of all my charges and my DUI case was dismissed and he got me to attend a traffic school which resulted in the dismissal of my speeding violation. So now, I don't have a DUI record. I heard that DUI hearings can take lot of time (more than 6 months or so) but in my case Michael got my case dismissed within 4 months. Without his representation and finesse I would have suffered the fullest extent of my charges. And not just the charges, it would have affected my personal and professional life badly but I am so greatful to god that I chose Michael to defend my case. He is very professional and ambitious! He is the best out there! He handled my case as a true professional. Not only did he get my case dismissed, but he also cared about me and my feelings throughout. I received a call one morning from an unfamiliar phone number. It was my son , telling me he had been arrested.He was accused of fracturing the arm of his son's mother.She was transported to the hospital and he was brought to the Pico Rivera Sheriff's Station. The charges were domestic violence, a f...elony. I was in shock, asking the obvious question how could this happen? I didn't know what to do except to call a bail bonds company to have my son released. The bail was set at $50,000 due to the felony charge. He spent 24 hours in custody . First at Pico Rivera Sheriff's Station and then transferred to the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles.When he arrived home were we still in shock and waited a full day before contacting an attorney. It was Sunday morning and I searched on the internet for domestic violence attorneys in Los Angeles. The name Michael Kraut appeared on a number of sites , so we called him. Surprisingly he answered the call and said he was on the way out but would get back to us a a few hours.He returned the call as promised and set up an appointment for the same afternoon. Upon meeting him, I noticed he was confident and immediately put us at ease. My son told him the facts and Michael told us about his background as a former District Attorney. He did emphasize the word RELAX. At that moment I knew he was the right attorney to clear my son of these charges. He told us to go home and write a timeline of events that led up to the incident. Michael wrote a letter to the Whittier District Attorney and also one to the detective at Pico Rivera station.the letter documenting the history of my grandson's mother extreme physical violence and harassment of my son. He included 30 pages of her police reports and incidences with various law enforcement agencies. The court date was in three weeks. we received a call from Mike two days before that court date. He wanted us to come to his office right away, I knew that could only mean two things... very good or very bad news. Well due to his stellar reputation as a District Attorney and his superb knowledge of the law the case was rejected. Finished! I highly recommend Michael Kraut, his effort is so appreciated. He put his heart into this case , knowing it could jeopardize the custody of my grandson. He is a well respected attorney and thank you are not powerful enough words for his help.

Mr. Kraut helped me with a very complex 2nd DUI case that could have landed me in jail. I was facing a probation violation, DUI, and suspension of license. The police charged me with a failure to take a field sobriety test, and a drug /alcohol blood test. Mr. Kraut not only made it possible for me ...to keep my license, but the jail time was cut into 5 minutes with a clerk. DUI in Los Angeles New Year’s of this year I was pulled over at a police checkpoint on the way back from a private party I played at. I was tested at the location, found to be .09 and was subsequently arrested. That’s the short of it. This was my first offense and I’ve promised myself, the last! ... I’m an artist/musician and ofcourse have been in situations that are uncommon to “normal folks”. That being said, I discovered pretty quickly that it was very difficult to maintain my cool!. What seemed like an eternity in jail ended the next afternoon. I was released. I just wanted to get home, be in familiar surroundings with my girlfriend and friends and forget about my “problem” until the next day. I woke up into a world where my life had changed. After spending hours online researching I realized the severity of my situation! A quick mental visit to the possibility of representing myself ended when I realized I didn’t want to be the guy who had a fool for a client! Much too risky knowing what the consequences might be. The search for lawyers began. I put in calls to friends while I looked on line. I learned two things during my many conversations with prospective candidates. They were very generous with their phone time and that I realized I had to put my fate in the hands of someone I did not know!! I felt helpless and uncomfortably not in control. No calls from my friends. Guess they came up empty handed. Then, I had an epiphany. Go to a legal forun, and go to YELP. Find someone interesting with good reviews then double check with the California Bar Site! A name kept coming up: Michael Kraut, of The Kraut Law Group. He captured my interest. I’m a jaded “Industry” guy. These reviews sounded too good to be true and were probably orchestrated by him, or so I figured! I called him anyway! He was busy, said he’d call me right back. He did! Good sign number one! He was also very generous with his time. He finally said, that I needed to come to the office. The consultation would be free. He needed to see if he could work with me! What? Now that’s interesting because that’s the way I work! He was the only one who wanted to see me! Now he really had my interest! I was still cautious,jaded and suspicious. I’m not going to write the great American novel here so I’ll now get to the point. On the way to his office, I was a distraught, anxious first time offender who was in a lot of trouble and couldn’t stop beating himself up for being so stupid!! By the time I left after being there for approx, 2 hours, I had found my Lawyer, was relieved and was calmed by his demeanor and confidence. Michael Kraut very deftly navigated us through the process. He knows the law. He also was a deputy DA for many years! He doesn’t play games. This was a serious offense and he acted accordingly. My DUI (misdemeanor) was dropped to a Wet Reckless (infraction), my fine was nowhere near what it might have been, looks like my license will only be suspended for a month, and my “alcohol school” will end after 12 weeks ! I have learned my lesson! Michael Kraut breaks the caricature of the archetypical lawyer! He is the kind of person who cares about you, makes you feel at home during your rough ride and most of all someone you can confide in as if he was a good friend. He is a busy man and sometimes he just can’t speak because he may be in court or is taken away on urgent matters. He always gets back in a timely fashion! I was a very demanding client in terms of questions. His mantra with me always was “relax you’re in good hands”. He proved that I was ! I am not a religious man but bless you Mr Michael Kraut. Maybe you really do walk on water! If you get into trouble because of a momentary lapse into stupidity, don’t be stupid in your choice of an attorney. Call Michael Kraut! Michael Kraut is amazing! He’s quick, responsive, smart and exceeded my expectations in what could be done to fight my case.
