Michael Eric Kraut

I was and am a client of Mike Kraut and have had such an incredible experience working with him. I'm sober 8 months now, but when I met mike, I had been arrested for possession of drugs and paraphernalia and my mom found hi via word of mouth, he came highly recommended. I was arrested for possession of concentrated marijuana, even though I had a valid doctor's recommendation. Not wanting to risk my future (I am an attorney), I reached out to Michael Kraut because of his outstanding AVVO ratings and reviews. These reviews are very accurate. Mike is straightforwar...d but also understanding. I would walk into his office depressed and scared and would walk out hopeful that everything would turn out ok. Mike was VERY responsive and kept me informed about the developments of my case. The fact that Mike is a former DA is significant because Mike has built relationships with the current judges and prosecutors, the people who now hold your future in their hands (I'm assuming you are reading this because you are in a similar position as I once was). For me, Mike was able to have my the charges against me withdrawn, meaning that I was never formally charged. Bottom line, Mike is expensive but worth it. Why risk your future over a few thousand dollar difference between Mike and then next attorney. I am very satisfied with what Mike did for me and look forward to Mike helping me again in having my arrest record sealed.

I got arrested in for a DUI during a music festival, was partying a lil bit too hard that weekend and got pulled over with a .19 BAC which included some other illegal substances in my blood. I was FREAKING OUT!! Could not sleep, worried about my job, worried about going to jail, high fines, and a pub...lic record bc of the high BAC etc and I live in LA county. I called 10 attorney's in the hopes of rolling the dice and finding someone good, got referred to Mike by a friend who said he never takes no and never quits on you. The day that I most want to forget happened this summer in my own home as police arrested me for possession of narcotics and 2 misdemeanors. I had never been arrested before and didn't know where to turn. I became depressed, stressed, and felt like scum of the earth. I'm sure there are very good lawyers out there but make the call and know you got a heavy weight boxer in your corner and this is like Tyson in his prime.

One night driving home near my place in Beverly Hills I made the mistake of answering a quick text and was pulled over. As the Beverly Hills PD is very strict the next thing I was arrested my vehicle searched and charged with felony of possession of an illegal substance. Before I knew what hit me I w...as facing some hefty charges and it was apparent that I had been made an example out of. None the less if I didn’t get some professional advice quickly I would be facing considerable charges and this could cause an affect on my life that would have unrecoverable consequences. As I had never been in trouble before I immediately panicked, didn’t know who to talk to as I didn’t want anyone to know or family to find out about this as I was VERY embarrassed. As with it being foreign territory for us with a hell of a lot at stake we are sometimes not the easiest to deal with with a ton of anxiety. If you want to put your best foot forward I highly recommend having Michael represent your case as I feel there is no one more focused and passionate at defending criminal law in this city.
