Traffic citation

I have a friend who's a criminal defense attorney and he advised me that a particular ticket I had gotten wouldn't be bearable, he said in Simi Valley they won't negotiate the ticket down. I got the particular vehicle code, and contacted Elena. To be clear elena didn't make any guarantees, and I expl...ained my situation that I'm pretty sure I'd be losing my license. I gave her details of the situation, and gave her the non moving violation vehicle code, she wasn't cheap by any means but worth every penny, everyone told me I was going to lose this citation but Elena managed to get me to a non moving violation and minimal fine. This happened about a year ago and I totally forgot to give a review, I just recently got another ticket and will be using her again as well

Excellent Lawyer

I was not sure at first because you never know when you first meet a stranger. But I can say without a doubt Elana was the most helpful in my case. I have had this issue for 20 yrs trying to find my kids and trying to get a handle on my child support. She handled all of this and my QDRO with a profes...sional approach and dignity where even my ex spoke and negotiated with her. She truly loves her job and cares. It's not about the money she has to charge you cause she is making a living but she loves what she does and gets real pleasure in helping families come together. I have one more court date and I not only have my boys back In my life but I will be able to open a bank account and have my life back again. I'm so glad I met her and I recommend her to all of you dad's. She truly cares and does what she can with in the measure of the law to help! Thank you Elana. I can't say that enough

Pleased with the level of service

I have been using Elena Mebtahi's office for a few years now; mainly for traffic violation. She has been able to dismiss majority of my cases. I have been impressed with the level of professionalism that her office has exhibited during the process. I always got frequent updates regarding my cases a...nd clear status on what to expect next. I have been particularly pleased by the fact that I have never had to spend any time appearing in courthouses or dealing with paperwork and everything was done through email communications. I have recommended this office to my colleagues and they have also expressed been pleased with the work done by Ms. Mebtahi's office.

Absent representation

I hired Elena to represent me for a 25+ mph speeding ticket. Elena, and her assistants were totally fine and communicative until my case went to trial. After being told I didn't have to be there, and would be told within 7 days what the outcome was, it's been radio silence. Nothing and it's c...oming up on 2 weeks from the time of the trial. Checking the status of my case online I saw today that it's status was changed to "matters set for compliance" and fine was attached. I've been trying to get a hold of the court to find out what happened. I paid the fee having no communication from my lawyer. * *After posting my review to avvo.com <http://avvo.com> Elena reached out to me to inform me that she had indeed been working on my case, and she wish I hadn't paid the fine because she had gotten traffic school to be an option. Which is great, but really should have been communicated to me earlier and before the fee was posted for me to pay. Even the slightest "we're working on it" email would have been very appreciated and helpful.

Dear client as explained to you over the phone at times the courts do not give us the paperwork right away due to their heavy calendar and we have to wait to go back to court to obtain that. Without the paperwork from the court I would not know exactly how much you would have to pay and by when. Unfortunately I did not have the exact information to relay to you within the promised 7 days. As you stated on the phone to me you did not make any attempts to call my office either before you made your payment. If you had also made an attempt to call my office this information would have been relayed to you. I am sorry for the turnout as I had in fact gotten you a very good deal on your case. Thank you and wish you all the best.
