Elena Mebtahi

I couldn't be more complimentary of Elena and her staff. To date, I have used her 4 times for traffic citations, between my husband and me, one of which was a ticket for 5 mph over that had ballooned into over $900 bail and a threat to suspend my husband's license because of the bungled "work" by an...other firm. (You can be sure that there is a less complimentary Yelp for that firm.) I see that another reviewer had much the same situation - it looks like Elena's firm has been pulling lots of us from the fire this year... I'm not sure about Ira's experience, and I am at a loss to explain it. I have never even met Ms. Mebtahi in person. We have spoken on the phone and through email, and she has always been polite, but to the point. Let someone else coddle. Her job is to win, and she does. Obviously she can't promise that something will be dismissed. But you can be sure that she will never miss an opportunity to try on your behalf. She won't miss a court date, forget to file a form, or forget to keep you informed. To date, I have never had to show up in court, and she has taken several sticky situations (including one where the court would not pick up the phone for several days running and I could not make a scheduled appearance, one where the other attorney botched it, and one where the court had dismissed my case but had neglected to tell DMV, who had suspended my license...), and she has removed ALL of the worry about it. Knowing that you have a, excellent attorney with excellent staff is life-changing. I couldn't have made it to the courthouse in some cases to clear up the lost paperwork, etc., I couldn't afford to take off work, and I didn't have a vehicle to get there. I can't begin to explain the amount of pressure that she has taken off of my shoulders in the last year, and she has done it so graciously and professionally. Don't expect a fuzzy, lovey-dovey kindergarten teacher. That's not her job. Give her the facts, the paperwork, let her do her job, and know that regardless of how it turns out, there is no way that you could have done better.

Attorney Mebtahi is no doubt the best!!! My husband and I secured her for a bogus child support case he had from a previous marriage, and she saved us a total of $92(k). From start to finish, she and her team were responsive. We were a bit apprehensive in the beginning since the case origina...ted out of California, thus requiring us to hire an attorney from there (even though we live in Missouri). Communication and trust were key since we relied on her to respond to all of our inquiries via phone and email, and trust that the money we authorized to be debited from our credit/debit cards would not be spent in vain. I had a case of arrears due to unemployment and unforseen circumstances, Elena was able to handle my case and go to court for me even though I was on a business trip to Puerto Rico. She was in constant contact with me during the court case, handled all the paperwork for me and basically kept my stres...s level to a minimum. She was able to work out an agreement that kept my payments affordable and I am very happy with the outcome. As many of you fathers know, getting hit with the paperwork and threats of garnishments at the beggining can make you feel like you dont know what to do, I would say to anybody go ahead and hire Elena and watch your stress and worries go away. I would recommend Elena to anybody that needs help with DCSS!!!!!

Elena Mebtahi was the best. I retained Ms. Mebtahi to take care of an eight year old misdemeanor traffic case that had turned into an arrest warrant. This was a California case and I had since moved to the east coast. She informed me that she would try to recall the warrant without my being presen...t. This is EXACTLY what she did. Not only did she recall the warrant, but she also got the case dismissed!!! Everything went smoothly; the communication between myself and Ms.Mebtahi was clear and understanding. Elena Mebtahi was a great lawyer. I had an accident that the insurance claimed it was my fault. I left everything up to her and she handled it perfectly.
