Byron A. Bergeron

Hello. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Byron Bergeron today. I was struck by Byron Bergeron's generosity, expertise, and knowledge in federal sentencing guidelines, how the law works,and how the law sees things. He generously gave almost 2 hours of his time educating my family and I on the law, adv...ised us in our situation, and graciously, respectfully declined the case based on his belief that the sentence was fairer than could be expected by the efforts of any lawyer and to take our money wouldn't be right as he didn't expect that it could be benefited through retaining council. Honesty, how refreshing! never asked for payment for this discussion. He is a Diamond in the Rough. I had called a number of lawyers prior to calling Mr. Bergeron and left messages. Those I called, have yet to return my call. Mr. Bergeron answered when I called and was so generous with his time. My family and I are very grateful for Mr. Bergeron, and wished we had found him sooner. Be blessed, Mr. Bergeron.

First and for most i want to say how personable Byron is, always answers the phone even on weekends!! And when he misses your call he makes a point to call you back as soon as he can this is hard to come by now in legal field. I came to Byron with possibly the hardest of cases this case being "first... degree arson". Good luck finding a skilled attorney in town who has delt with arson. This holds a 2 to twenty years sentence structure. He battled this case for 23 months and mind you this case started right before the covid pandemic. And ended January 2022. Tje state was demanding we go to a zoom hearing Byron did not think so he explained to the courts and the state how a zoom hearing will be violating my right exhausted himself on getting myself and him in that courtroom. After months of back and fourth with the prosecutor Byron was able to get my charges dropped from a mandatory prison sentence to a probationble offence.with all the evidence that the state had we had no choice but to take the deal.. although the D.A wanted to bury me for 6 years now the day of sentencing.... You wanna talk about a man who can battle in a courtroom I have never seen an attorney carry himself like Byron After back and fourth with the prosecution the judge and Byron the State of course making me sound like a monster and a victims letter asking for a max sentence witch is 10 years and prosecution asking for 6. I felt i was surely cooked!!! Luckily for me the D.A made some errors on investigation and had untrue facts and Byron new this and put on the breaks and informed the state and the judge and they could not argue with the correction. After the back and fourth. It was now my time to talk to the judge honorable walker was my judge that day. He explained to me that every arson case he has had before him he has sent to prison after I gave my speech and Byron rebuttled for the final time urging the judge to give me probation. Honorable walker suspended my sentence 2 to 6 years in prison no more that 3 on probation and 6 months in County jail. It was over this hard case was over. Out of the many men in jail and countless deputies over my 6 months asked me how in the world did I get so lucky with my sentence!!! Deputies been the thier carrier for 20 plus said they have never seen an arson case get sentenced to county jail. And probation I said Byron Bergeron was my attorney and he does not lose. Anyone who reads this and in need of an attorney call Byron he has your back. I call Byron for any legal advise or questions he even took the time to write me letter for employment to help with my criminal record on looking for work that does a background search.
