So I am one of the inventors that likes to search for weeks for the perfect anything. I hit several brick walls in my patent attorney search, and I can honestly I ran into a streak of luck with Phil. He is incredibly affordable. He also has decades of experience and the man has experience in a patent... office! But all of this aside, I think the best quality his services offer is simplicity. He can tell you simply and in a straight-forward manner, what your best moves are for your patent and the process of patenting an invention. He is the person you need for invention protection.

Phil has done a fantastic job with quite a few patents that I needed to have generated and needed them to be filed. I have worked with other attorneys in this field and have found that Phil has the knowledge and goes the extra mile to complete and quickly execute with agreement by us and our require...ments. Many other attorneys do not follow up or understand what you want or mean. Phil has this experience. We filed 3 patents over the past year in different areas and he was right on. He has the understanding of what I needed. His write up was better then I could have written and I am the creator. I have a few more that I will be using Phil on and will continue to hire him for his expertise in all of these fields including aiding us in the licensing of some of our newly patented products.

Phil has helped prep and submitted multiple design and provisional patents for my startup. He is knowledgeable in my field (software, computer storage, storage network, data services) which has helped greatly in both filing the patents and in office action responses. I like working with Phil - he is knowledgeable about trademarks and patents and he knew our area of technology, which was especially important in the patent-writing process. Even better, he is a businessman - he understands our needs from a business point of view. I have met patent attorneys who were... altogether too academic and ivory-tower, with no understanding of real-world needs. I like that Phil does a thorough patent search and he takes into account what is already out there. Some patent attorneys do not do that, and simply let the patent office come up with objections. They have reasons for this - but I disagree with them. I want our patent attorney to frame our patent with full cognizance of the territory. Otherwise it can be a waste of time and money, and real opportunities can be missed.
