Does not listen to client
I saw Mr. Ivey for a copyright infringement case. Mr.Ivey did not perform the tasks I asked and did perform extra tasks that did not apply to my case and then charged me for this unwanted research. At one point Mr. Ivey attempted to charge $285.00 for a 11 minute phone call, I cannot recommend Mr. Iv...
I saw the negative comment years but wasn't prompted to respond. AVVO, having seen the number of answers i've posted, brought this message to my attention and encouraged me to react. I remember the circumstances - the individual worked in a national laboratory capacity and was anxious in assuring that the employment not be revealed. Such was managed but the client's reaction was unusually inaccurate in thinking that an excessive charge for legal services had occurred. Such was not the case. There was no $200+ charge for an 11 minute telephone call. I believe that the incident was never known to the client's employer. There are numerous positive comments made by local and Intellectual Property attorneys and clients. I invite others to review the positive reviews.
