Norton Russell Townsley

I practice mainly in th earea of patent and trademark prosecution.  In addition to writing and filing many US and PCT Patent Applications (both Utility and Design), I have written and filed may patent amendments and appeal briefs.  I have also conducted a number of Trademark Oppositions and Cancellations.  I am one of the few Patent Attorneys you will ever meet who has conducted a Patent Interference Proceeding.

I have a BS in Chemistry from UCLA and a JD from UWLA.  I am admitted to the State Bar of California, am licensed to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office and am a California licensed Professional Engineeer. 

Before opening my practice as a Patent Attorney I worked as a Materials and Process Engineer in the Southern California aerospace industry.

My firm, Belasco Jacobs & Townsley, LLP, was formed about 10 years ago.  Our rates are competetive and our work high quality.  Because or our extensive backgrounds and experience we are easily able to grasp complex inventions.  We have obtained a large number of Patents and Trademark Registrations for our clients.  A few examples are shown elsewhere in my profile.
