Excellent Patent Lawyer

Phil was perfect for my needs. First of all he has an Engineering background. This works well with my invention. Second, he has actually worked in the Patent Office as a patent examiner. This is a big plus, you want someone to have that experience so they can build a solid patent application. And of ...course, he is a Patent Lawyer. With these three qualifications, you'd think he will cost you an arm and a leg but surprisingly his fees are reasonable. As a person, he is easy to talk to and very accommodating. I highly recommend him and will use him again for my other ideas in the future.

They all should be like this.

Phil has helped and guided me thru the process of filling my patent paperwork and made it very easy to understand. Even though I live in another state his service level was as if he was next door. Thanks again Phil

I have nothing but praise for Phil. He has helped me in so many so of getting patent things handled. Even tho I live in a different state you would never know it by his service level. Thanks again Phil

Focuses on the opportunities, not the negatives

Phil was very professional and easy to work with. He first helped me with a very nuanced utility patent where his skills and experience were immediately evident. When the USPTO requested an amendment be made he was actually able to make the patent even more valuable and encompassing while fulfillin...g their request. Furthermore, when I mentioned in passing that I had competitors trying to circumvent my patent he had immediate and valuable suggestions to further protect my intellectual property.

Provisional filed on a holiday weekend

I called Phil after a recommendation from a friend. He worked so fast to get my patent filed it was kind of unbelievable. He was quick to respond and very professional. Every email was answered within 20 minutes. The first mock up required almost no corrections, and we were filed very quickly ove...r a holiday weekend! I will definitely continue to use Phil for all legal work.
