Definitely worth it!

As a parent of a senior in college whose welfare is our utmost concern, having hired Atty. Jeffrey Marks was indeed the best decision we ever made. He was communicative, compassionate, and informative in all the details that needed to be voiced and/or dealt with, with reference to our sons' acciden...t. Knowing our rights is one thing, and is expected; but what we were pleasantly surprised by was the great care and concern demonstrated to our son and us (his parents) by not only the attorney, but his entire staff, who were all on the same page so to speak, and all were familiar with the case so that I didn't have to explain everything with each inquiry to their office. it is my belief they worked tirelessly above and beyond the call of duty to do what they could to see my son got the justice he deserved, with the accountability the opposing party deserved as well. We are very happy to have made this choice by hiring Atty. Jeffrey A. Marks and would do it again, should similar unfortunate circumstances arise at some future point. Without hesitation I would recommend him to my closest friends, family members, and/or acqauintances. It was almost like having another family in our corner fighting with us, which is why we never felt alone.

ineffective and unruly

Accepted my case as plaintiff in PI case, defendant in civil matter and then as plaintiff in civil action all within same stretch of time. The latter two were at behest of his Legal Plan which recommended his "expertise." It became abundantly clear he had no trial expertise (unprepared to show video ...prepared for him at his request) nor did he have any real estate expertise. In the real estate matter, he simply jumped onto the opposing party's bandwagon of claims with adequately researching and violated Legal Plan rules in process. I was overcharged without retainer in excess of thousands and then he refused dispute resolution procedure in lieu of going to Bar for ethics. He seemed to know firsthand their system lacked the resources to investigate him, so he dragged it out and abandoned my PI case midway in retaliation for my requesting refund repeatedly. His staff were employed to prevent access and behave rudely to the end of holding him unaccountable. It's really a shame that firms are allowed to engage in shenanigans with Legal Plans to exaggerate one another's credentials and profit from what appears as absolutely unethical conduct. ( He swore he'd never take another real estate case as my title lawyer and other counsel demonstrated his erroneous assumptions, but you can see on Avvo that not anything he ever said was true because complaints about his real estate bungling persist and I'm sure each one along the way received that same flowery Welcome Letter package exclaiming how he'd work his honest best to "professionally" represent his clients--yadayadayada. What good is such a flowery Agreement when no one will assertively communicate its meaning with respect for the facts transpiring as they develop? All he did for me was offer bad service, refusal to look at his errors using factual outside legal analyses, refusal to "reapportion" his accounting errors to the end of refund, and act like he never knew what was wrong in spite of letters, emails, voice messages and meetings. I don't know the word appropriate to describe such a character, but you won't find it on Avvo.

divorce mother of 4

Mr. Marks promise me that he would take care of me and my children and I would be set with no problems and I would be able to live a stable life with my children but he keep on delaying the court untill I ran out of money and the left me cold and homeless with my four children while my ex husband is ...living an extreemly good life.
