Jeffrey A. Marks

My deceased,parent used Mr Marks for his will so I contacted him to handle the Estate. Worst choice I could have made. This guy is the worst possible attorney available in Tucson, he padded his invoice by thousands, did NOT follow thru with customers requests, borderline illegal activities. Then uses... his power and knowledge of Estate he was hired to settle and gained monetary. I'm not,sure how this man can look in his own eyes and sleep at night with his unethical dishonest service. Please do not hire him. Keep searching, nothing but a headache with his service.

Let me start this review off by saying that for most of my life I equated defense lawyers to seedy used car dealers. And, I think that's a misconception a lot of people have until that fateful day that everything goes wrong and you realize your life is in tatters (or is about to be). The realiz...ation that you cannot possibly hope to successfully defend yourself in court is truly a sobering moment. As trepidation begins to permeate your mind with questions such as: What is going to happen to me? What about my kids? Can I afford representation? Put your concerns to rest, as Attorney Jeffrey A. Marks will literally swoop in and make your situation infinitely better. When Jeffrey and I first met, my Ex was looking to clean out the bank account and take my little girl along with her. At the time my initial impression was that Jeffrey seemed like a mere mortal, but I was told he was the best and to have faith. And then, when we stepped into the court room, Attorney Marks transformed from who I had falsely believed to be an unassuming character into a virtual titan right before my eyes. I contacted Mr. Marks on a Thursday, after being alerted to a potential problem with a deed I was to sign the following Monday. Although this could easily have been resolved through a phone conversation and the faxed document, he insisted I come into his office the next day. Although it was inconve...nient, I agreed, due to the time-sensitive nature of the matter. While reviewing my call with Mr. Marks, I noted his flippant manner, lack of courtesy, and an apparent unfamiliarity with the area of concern. I then contacted another attorney, who immediately understood the issue and requested the documents I would later fax over to her. I then immediately called Mr. Marks' office to cancel our appointment, but there was no answer. I called again the following morning and was told he would not be in that day. He had scheduled me for an appointment he'd no intention of keeping. Although his conduct was inappropriate on both personal and professional levels, I later learned he'd done me a favor, albeit inadvertently. Two weeks later, his office left a voice mail, informing me he'd be available for an appointment.
