Wonderful lawyer and an overall good man!

Hello, I was very thrilled to work with Mr. Roland Rillos. I found myself in a very unfortunate and precarious position last year after being pulled over and charged with some serious driving-related offenses. As a relatively new resident of Arizona I was quite timid and understandably; I harbored a great deal of anxiety about the legal process I was facing ahead. During this incredibly difficult time I had contacted several offices seeking legal advice; sadly however I was not satisfied with what other firms’ had to offer. . This difficulty I had encountered in obtaining legal counsel was very discouraging. It wasn’t until I saw a Google Ad online one afternoon that prompted me to call R&R Law Group where things changed. When I called the office, the intake-person took my information and within a few minutes I was able to speak to both Mr. Rillos and his equally amazing legal partner Mr. Robert Gruler. . At this point I knew I was in the right place. Mr. Gruler (himself being a duly qualified and talented practitioner) took the time to listen to all of my concerns. I was even offered a same-day complimentary meeting to go over my concerns more throughly. Upon showing up to the office I was greeted warmly by the staff and then promptly put in touch with Mr Roland Rillos, whom took carriage of my case and ensured my instructions were meticulously followed. — Mr Rillios is a completely genuine man, he is very kind and gracious with his time. What I love about being an attorney is that I get to fight for fairness. Ever since I can remember I grew up with a sense of what was fundamentally right and what was fundamentally wrong, fariness was an important concpet to me, fairness has remained an important concept for me.

As an attorney, my work gives me the opportunity to fight for fairness on a daily basis, and I can not think of a better way to spend my time. I can't count the number of times a potential client has come to me and said, "I support the police, I think they have a tough job to do, I dont protest them, but they did not treat me right when they charged me with this crime." I can relate to that reaction. What a lot of pepole don't realize, until they are charged with a crime, is that often times the police and prosecutors make snap judgements. They look at just a portion of facts or events and make a decision. When that decision results in an arrest and criminal charges it can be devistating to the perosn charged. People also dont realize that police officers can lie to poeple they are investigating, they can attempt to gather infomration by prentending to be on your side, or engaging a person in seemingly unimportant conversation. Likewise, a police officer can spin observations to make them more subjective thereby bolstering thier own view of a case. These things happen when people are arrested, and it always hits people like a ton of bricks when they realize what is happening.

My job is to fight for you and your rights. The United States Consitution guarantees due process and fuindamental fairness. That means that when the police or prosecutor attempt to twist facts and subjectivly apply evidence, you have the right to present the entire story and question their unfair presentation of the case. To me, that is an honorable profession to dedicate ones life to, and I am proud to do that on a daily basis. With every client I look forwrad to listening to thier side of the story and working with them to gather evidence the police did not want to find, or ignored. I develop strategies desinged to help us negotiate with the prosecutor and prepare the case for trial. I work to make sure that fairness is not lost in the judical system.

Superior Attorney

I was facing charges that would’ve impacted my future and destroyed my career. I was extremely anxious following my arrest, until I hired Roland from R&R law group. Best Lawyer Ever

Let me start off by saying, I had no prior assocation with this firm or did I get paid for for this review. But hey if they want to pay me after, I wont say no lol. But anyways just found them with a five star review online. As always I was procrastinating so I needed a lawyer quickly. But I did shop around, they were not the cheapest but reasonably priced. Also the flat fee & flexable payment option had me in. So as soon I hired them, I was recieving emails which was my perfered choice of contact being busy with work. They took care of all the leg work. I would just give them the documents they requested and they took care of the rest. They kept me informed and let me know and make decisions every step of the way. I really felt like I had someone who was also looking out for me and not just their own agenda. They gave me options and advised me, but ultimately let me make my own decisions. At one point we thought we had an opportunity for a plea agreement. But the state did not want to be reasonable and would not make an agreement. I felt down about not wining plea but Roland encouraged me the war wasn't over and he was going to fight for me till the end. The final court hearing was upon us. Roland was there prompt and ready to go with portable computer and a notepad scattered with notes. I was surprised with the amount of information and fine details he had prepared to present. Once court started he jot it down every important detail that was said. He kepted the prosecutor on her toes objecting to any thing that was circumstantial or out of line. At one point he almost got the whole case thrown out because the state had submitted all the testimonies on the wrong day. The judge did not bite but he tired, that shows his experience and attention to detail. Roland was relentless every step of the way, fighting for me and never let up. Ultimately through Roland's hard work, perseverance and experience as a lawyer I was found not guilty of all my charges. Where else are you going to find someone who will fight this hard for you. I will tell you no where I have tired. I could not be happier with my decison to hire Roland & the R & R Law group. With that being said, Roland will be my lawyer all future matters and I will recommend him to any of my friends and family. So make the right choice and choose Roland.

DUI

My experience with R&R law group was Fatanstic! However, my case wouldn't have gone the way it went without the help of Roland. I was falsely charged with a DUI , I thought it would be an easy win for me so I hired a state attorney. Biggest mistake ever! The attorney did not believe me just like most people wouldn't but I was that 1% telling the truth. I had a very difficult case and I knew I needed someone to fight all the way to prove my innocence. On October of 2016 my cousin was driving his girlfriends car and I had tagged along. Long story short he crashed the car and fled the scene. Yes, I was drinking that night but becuase I was left behind I was accused of driving under the influence without any proof I was behind the wheel. All I needed from my cousin was to testify the TRUTH but he turned his back away. Nevertheless, I had my attorney Roland who not only listened but was able to develop creative solution to win my case. He was always on top of things like conducting interviews with the police and witnesses, introducing new evidence to the prosecutor and had her great assistant Yuliana update me throughout the case. I was charged with 4 crimes and had them dismissed, all thanks to the hard work Roland and his team put out for me.

Highly recommended! Best Attorney in Phoenix!

Roland helped me immensely with my case. I was hopeless about my case until I brought Roland on to help me. Not only did he get the whole case dismissed because of a small problem, but he was able to get a guarantee that the charges could not be brought back. My first attorney was helpful but not nearly as talented. He did not find the mistake in my case that officers did resulting a full dismissal for me. I am so glad I got a second opinion from this attorney! I highly, highly recommend this attorney!

Awesome and Trustworthy - DUI Case

I highly recommend R and R Attorney firm. They helped me with a DUI case from 2010. The staff is very professional and was always there to answer my questions. Trustworthy and reliable

Roland is a highly attentive person. A family member was arrested and Roland was recommended to us by a close family friend. We reached out to him on a Saturday evening, and he was kind enough to ease our worries and help us understand what was happening. I could not have been more grateful. He was able to meet our schedule. He helped us by scheduling an affordable payment plan. He was always available to answering our questions and meeting us in places that were convenient to us.

Domestic violence case

Roland helped my boyfiend in his case accusing him of domestic violence. Roland listened with an open mind. He explained very clearly expectations and responsibilities for us. He was very clear about not making false promises but honest about being hopeful. He was honest in providing best and worse case scenarios and how he would be able to assist or guide as necessary. He responded almost immediatley to every phone call and/or email. Even on his time off he was willing to respond, meet with me or initiate a call with any news or information. He was able to have these charges dropped and therefore help our future without any additional troubles. As for his fee, I find him very reasonable and he explains very clearly how his time and charges work. In any situation he would explain everything in language that was easy to understand. We are very grateful for the help and the result of his case. We would happily recommend Roland to anyone for any criminal case they might need assistance with. Thank you Roland.

criminal speeding ticket racing on highway

I had a criminal speeding ticket this last month and roland helped me a lot with the case. He dropped the charges down to civil ticket which will impact my future career. He informed me before the court hearings and also discussed about our options. Hopefully I would not have to call him again but he will be trusted lawyer from now on. Thanks roland

Awesome

I was pulled over for DUI and called Roland at 12:30 at night. I was told by Roland what to say/not say to the officer and taken to a facility to have my blood tested in lieu of a breathalyzer. Roland met me at the facility and answered all questions on my behalf from that point on. My case ended up being dismissed about a month later. Couldn't ask for more.

I received a DUI in Phoenix and Mr. Rillos has been able to ease the pain. Mr. Rillos went out of his way and drove from down town Phoenix to North Phoenix just to provide me with a free consultation. You don't get that kind of personal attention from most lawyers or firms. He has been very informative throughout the entire process and makes sure I fully understand my case/options. DUIs are extremely frighting, but when you have an attorney like Mr. Rillos that is going to fight for you, it provides comfort. His rates are very fare, especially for the amount of service you receive. I highly recommend Mr. Rillos.

Poor listening skills!

I just spoke to Mr. Rillos and attempted to explain to him multiple times that my brother willingly placed an in car breathalyzer in his vehicle years ago to prevent him from getting a DUI. He repeatedly attempted to explain that that could not be the case and I must be incorrect. After the fourth time of assuring him that was the case that he has had it for ten years and arguing with him, I finally hung up. Although I'm sure he felt like he was just doing his job, he needs to work on his listening and client relations skills.

This is a post from a person who was not a client. He called and asked me to give a consultation on his brothers case. A few comments he has made are incorrect. He never explained that he knew the ignition interlock device was on voluntarily to avoid another DUI. I also never told him that people can’t voluntarily put an ignition interlock on a vehicle. As part of consultations, in order to give the best advice possible, I spend time talking to the person who calls about the case. I ask questions related to the case to help me, and eventually them, understand the different scenarios that could occur. These questions were the thorn in this person’s side. I asked him how he knew his brother’s ignition interlock device was on voluntarily. He responded by saying he didn’t know but that he was certain. I explained that an iid is not commonly put on voluntarily, and that if it was a required device it could have an impact on the case, knowing for certain if the device is required would help me understand the case better. I again asked if he knew for sure it was voluntarily on and how. He became upset. I explained in more detail what was important about that question and he hung up. In some circumstances people feel like they have the ability to control a consultation, or force an attorney to accept certain statements as fact. The questions that I ask and the work that I do is for the benefit of my clients and potential clients. I will always have in depth consultations and I will always push for as reliable information as possible. I believe my thoroughness is an attribute to my practice. If someone does not agree then I may not be the attorney for them. In his case, he continued to text me after he hung up and threatened to leave negative reviews. I wished his brother luck in his situation and advised him that another attorney would be best. I also explained that the negative review he threatened would be responded to appropriately.

Save your time & money!

The worst company! Save your money! They take your money & do absolutely nothing to represent you.You're left to do all the work in representing yourself. You can have all the evidence in the world in your favor & they will force & threatened you to sign to dismiss. They do what's best for them, not what's best for You. If you don't do as your told, you're constantly being threatened to be dropped as a client. This after you have already paid in full & no refunds. You are at their mercy! Roland Rillos was the one who "represented me." What a waist of my time & money! Don't disregard this review, as I did when I read bad reviews from previous clients. Reviews are there for a reason..

This review is anonymous. Thus, there can be no meaningful response with regards to the perceived complaint. I will note that the statement indicates, “...they will force and threaten you to sign to dismiss..” Diversion plea offers can be a meaningful and positive resolution in a case. With a diversion plea offer a client will enter a plea, then will have to complete certain terms to in order to have the case dismissed. In most cases, these resolutions are desirable, as they allow a charge to be dismissed and the client completely controls the ability to have the case dismissed, so long as they complete the terms of the agreement. Thus, it can be a guaranteed dismissal. Some clients, despite, knowing that there case will be dismissed, are still upset by the fact that they are being told their chances at winning at trial are low compared to the dismissal. For whatever reason they believe that my advocating to get a dismissal of their case is not doing my job. I will always seek the best results for the client. A dismissal of charges is a great result. Additionally, no client is ever forced to enter into an agreement. The Court will always ask a client if they are acting on their own free will. If a client does not want to do something they do not have to. Attorneys cannot force them. If clients behave improperly towards staff and towards me I will tell them that the behavior will not be tolerated and they will have to find a new attorney. However, usually we can work something out. In this review it appears the client was offered a diversion plea to have their case dismissed. It also appears as though they were having trouble understanding that a dismissal is a good resolution. I’m happy they were able to have their charges dismissed. As to their disappointment, all I can say is I tried my best to put them in a better position after the case then when they came to me, and a dismissal of charges is that.

Worst Lawyer Ever, Rude and Arrogant

I recently hired R&R Law Group to represent me in a traffic case and I was assign Roland Rillos as my attorney. I now feel like i made a mistake because Roland was so rude and arrogant oh the phone to me. He made me feel like he didnt care about what I thought or felt about my case. He threathened to drop my case unless I stopped asking questions and do exactly what I was told to do. I can not believe this law firm hires such disresecptful lawyers. I wish I could get another attorney but I am afraid if I complain then they would drop my case and I have already paid the $2000 fee and I have court in a few days. I would not recommend R&R Lsw Group and can not recommend Roland Rollis. Steer clear of this law firm and of this attorney.
