Going through a divorce is never easy, but Matt made it a great experience. I was always informed on what was going on with my case. I received daily emails with information from my ex husband as well as issues related to custody. Matt took my fear and concerns into his heart and made sure that the ultimate outcome was one that was in the best interest of my daughter. After getting off the phone with Matt, the first time, I could feel a sense of decorum and honesty. There was an overwhelming amount of straightforwardness, detail, mixed in with a rapid and real congeniality. He knew my pain. He understood. As a father dealing with a woman who consistently hired lawyers that were less scrupulous, and hawkish in their attacks on me, it felt extremely serene, to have, him in my corner. Matt is finally an answer to prayer, and answer to being abused and kicked around by lawyers my wife typically likes to hire. Incidentally, its interesting to note that, typically people hire lawyers they resonate with. So if you are out for money and power, that is typically the weapon you purchase in a lawyer like my wife. But my goal was for something fair for my children, unlike my wife, and her attorney who was disbarred and has a terrible rating on this site, Matt's rating is PERFECT for a reason. Which in hindsight, I can attest, has been my wife's modus operandi in the past several years since our separation is to choose bossy, pushy, lawyers that reflect my wife's inner demons. I chose Matt because he was Good. He was Fair. And he was straightforward of the expectations and possible outcomes. Thankfully my case settled in the conference and never saw court time. I had negotiated with my wife in the days leading up to it, and tried to reach the unreachable person. Matt was the Rock, I could depend on to back me up if negotiations would fail. And I feel it was his presence that kept me from getting railroaded again. He is a surgeon with the law, and I would recommend anyone, to just talk to him and gather a sense of what you idealize in a storybook lawyer you would want to represent you in a huge case. I was arrested for a second DUI in the city of Mesa, which has a reputation for being the worst possible city to get a DUI in the state of Arizona. The court is strict and prosecutors are notoriously difficult to work with. My particular case required a lot of finesse. Throughout every step of the way Matt explained the process and exactly what to expect. He was extremely responsive and always took the time to answer my questions throughout the entire ordeal. I am extremely satisfied with the results of the case. We won the MVD hearing and reinstated my driver's license. We also struck a plea agreement with the city of Mesa. Thanks to Matt, what would have been a second DUI was pled down to an "Attempted DUI" which does not count as a DUI. What could have been several weeks in jail, a year's drivers license suspension, and an inordinate amount of fines and other requirements turned out to be a simple fine and alcohol counseling through the plea agreement. Matt provided fantastic representation and I recommend him highly.

After trying and failing to get representation from 7 other attorneys, Matt was brave and kind enough to agree to represent me three days before my scheduled trial. He worked diligently and applied 100% focus to my case. He did an exceptional job and the fact that he had less than 72 hours to prepare for trial makes him my hero.

Matt was a great attorney, he helped me get through a very time sensitive child custody case in the state of AZ and Idaho, along with an old pending DUI case that I had never dealt with.
