Terrible attorney!
I used this Annette when she was with deshon pulley an associates, and without going into complete detail... DO NOT USE HER! She does not follow thru, kept promising that something was gonna be filed, and after checking every few days, it took her 3 months to file and when she did file, she forgot to...

Replied last March 15, 2011Thank you for your comment. While I appreciate constructive reviews, it is unfortunate that you chose to post your complaint anonymously since I simply do not recall a client or case as you describe. I can however guarantee that drafting a motion and having phone calls with a client would not have caused you to incur $15,000 in attorney’s fees through DeShon Pullen & Associates. Clients that have accrued attorney’s fees in that range are ones for whom I litigate and appear in court numerous times. Billing complaints were also beyond my control while I was an employee at the firm you reference, and any fees you allege to have paid were not paid to me; they were paid to the firm. Your complaint should have been addressed to the firm at that time. As for the substance of your complaint, oftentimes there are circumstances beyond the control of the attorney which results in delay. I do not recall nor would I ever intentionally delay the drafting of a motion or intentionally fail to sign a pleading for any client. I work diligently and am responsive to my clients to the best of my ability. It is unfortunate you feel as though I did not do so for you, assuming you were in fact a client, because my objective is to provide quality service for all my clients. As you can see by other comments on this site, follow-through and responsiveness are not an issue for them.

Annette Cox was very knowledgeable and experienced in her field. She did a great job at helping me with my family law issues and even followed up with me to make sure everything was going well. I would definitely reccomend Annette and I will be using her again.
