Do Not Recommend
I retained an attorney for post divorce decree modifications, assuming the same attorney that represented me previously would provide the same service and results. While things went well initially, the court appearance did not end in our favor. After that, I received no communication until I followed...

Big Fees & Little Impact - Beware!
I was hesitant to write this review b/c I know how this type of lawyer will work overtime to spin the review/message I’m about write. I retained Annette Cox Sandoval’s services for my divorce in May of 2017 & fired her in October of 2017. I was impressed during the initial consult w/ Annette Cox Sand...
It is unfortunate to hear you had this experience. The Firm prides itself on providing personal and professional services. It appears that you may not have understood the fee agreement in full, and unfortunately no attorney at the Firm is capable of working for free except in specific pro bono circumstances. Unlike many law firms, I also provide significant discounts and no charge many fees in an effort to keep the costs more reasonable. However, in some cases the conflict between parties exacerbates the amount of work and increases the costs. With regards to tactics, I do not take any positions on cases - the client(s) take the positions, and so if you opted to take a certain position that in the end was unproductive or unsuccessful, that is ultimately because of a decision you made. My job is to provide information and options as well as to help the client weigh the pro's and con's of a certain strategy. I cannot and do not act independently without the client's consent. If there was ineffectiveness, it is often due to the Court's decisions, as I do not ultimately control or dictate the outcome - the judge does. The vast majority of my clients are pleased with their outcomes, and any complaints regarding services can be addressed by the State Bar of Arizona. Thus far, I have provided and intend to continue to provide ethical and responsible services in compliance with all State Bar regulations.

Prenuptial agreement - Annette Cox
I retained Annette's services for my prenuptial agreement. I was impressed upon first meeting her, but once I paid my retainer, her customer service decreased considerably. I did not feel that she was representing my interests or advising me on the terms of the agreement and how they might affect me ...
Thank you for your comment. We take all comments including those that are critical seriously. Upon review of this particular case, it appears that you as the client did not respond to our Firm's last email(s) and the line of communication as a result ceased. While I can understand you felt that my answers might have been vague, sometimes it requires follow up and discussion - to which I did not even know you had additional questions or concerns since there was no further response. With regards to what was sent to your fiance's attorney, the draft had been approved by you. After sending it on, we received an additional email inquiry from you to which we responded. The retainer agreement you had with the Firm was for consultation only on the prenuptial and did not include negotiating or advocating for your proposed changes. The limited scope was because you wanted to be mindful of costs and we were attempting to respect your budget. Had you wanted us to take a more proactive role, a response to our last email, more specific directions from you, and a broadened scope of retention would have been warranted.
