Robert F. Black Jr.

Mr. Black is an absolutely amazing attorney and genuine person. My 19yr old son was killed on his motorcycle. Mr. Black was so kind, informative, empathetic to myself and family. He gently had the hard conversations with me, the ones that no mother wants to have. He literally was so kind and heart...felt, it made the things I had to do a little easier. He was very informative and me feel seen, heard, understood, and most importantly NEVER gave up on getting justice for my son. Words don’t feel appropriate enough to express my gratitude and appreciation . I highly, highly recommend Mr. Rob Black.

I was fresh back from San Fransisco and drugged out of my skull. Had a $120 day habit and I convinced my mother I was safer in Jersey if I left Cali. Well I robbed her and was homeless after of course she kicked me out. I spent the next year wasting my life and running from the cops and a warrant. I ...was working everyday in fact, for drug money, and I was setup by my sister she told the cops where I worked​. It was a wrap. Burglary, theft, possession of heroin. I got arrested in front of 25 people... Facing 3-5 years, and hoping anyone would help. And the only man that payed me a visit in jail was Robert Black. I never reached out to him. He took on himself to fight to get me out after 4 weeks​. He was fair with costs and he is smart as I'm always going to have Rob Black on retainer. Thanks to Robbie and few others I am 11 month clean and work. I owe Rob Black a debt of gratitude and a will always have respect for him. I just wish he was able to handle my trust and some other legal matters as i am confident he would hold his own with the best.

I had a really serious family matter that I needed representation for and I called a different lawyer that I have used in the past for a few traffic tickets. While talking to my former lawyer I wasn’t feeling good about what he said over the phone. I just felt like a number even though he knew me. ... I called my uncle and told him my dilemma and was then referred to Mr. Black. He has represented my uncle with positive results as well! I called Mr. Black and he consulted me over the phone and asked me to meet him at his office. (ON HIS DAY OFF!!!!) He reassured me that my case would be handled in my favor. The situation that I was faced with could have affected my livelihood and my personal reputation if I wasn’t proven innocent. Mr. black worked diligently to prove my innocence and made sure I was comfortable with what he wanted to do. He took time to listen to me instead of over talking me like “most” do; he treated me like an individual and not a number in his filling cabinet. The only thing I don’t like is that I didn’t meet him sooner! His Paralegal Devon did a wonderful job keeping in touch with me and keeping us in the know. Robert F. Black Jr. and Devon make an excellent team and I would recommend Mr. Black to anyone who needs SOLID legal representation!

I had been struggling very much with my separation and divorce in a lot of different areas, and my ex was not being very cooperative. Robert and his staff were excellent from the moment I hired him. Despite my situation he made sure the divorce process was as pain free for me, as humanly possible. Wh...en we did finally go to court, he was still very reassuring that all would work out ok. Sitting in the courtroom it felt more like being next to a friend, than just an attorney. He made me as comfortable as could be, in what is otherwise a very sad and horrible event in life. His staff is on top of things, and extremely responsive. I would hire him again and highly recommend to others. He is not your typical attorney, he cares about all parties involved, and does what is best. I fell ill a couple weeks after the court date, and was hospitalized. Robert and his staff took the time to actually care, spoke with my family, and see how I was, and if I needed anything. Very satisfied with the outcome and I'm happy I chose the right attorney.

Robert was one of the most trustful and respectable lawyers I have ever come across. He really works hard for his clients and he also works with you to keep you informed. He knows the law inside and out and is really out to help you. He always got back to me and reassured me that everything was going... to be alright. I was extremely nervous but he kept me calm and reassured me. He was able to get my charges lowered to a misdemeanor so I would not get any felony on my record which would have been detrimental to my livelihood due to getting assistance from the government. He cared so much about what happened to me and I would definitely recommend him in the future.
