Brian was great

On January 29, 2015, I was charged with an Extreme DUI along with other charges. I immediately sought the help from Brian D. Sloan in hopes to decrease the charges for a first time offense. As a member of the military and also a nursing student, I had a lot to lose if I went to jail for a long peri...od of time. Brian recommended that I immediately complete the Alcohol screening and DUI education classes to help with my case when it came time to go to court. Brian took care of everything, including attending to my court dates until the final court date where I was then convicted. Brian was up front, he did not promise me anything but was confident he could help me. The price was not too much to ask for the services he provided and I was able to pay in two different payments. He also extended my driving privileges so that I could get everything in order and I was able to have an input on the date when I wanted my driving privileges suspended. At the end, Brian arranged a plea where I plead guilty to a Regular DUI with one day in jail. All other charges were dropped.

2nd super extreme in less then 5 years

I was facing about 6 months in jail due to this being my 2nd super (bac .26)...he told me within the first 10 minutes of our consultation that i was facing around 6 months realistically. he was very upfront with me and did not get my hopes up. After deciding to hire him, any question i asked he answ...ered VERY fast. About a week before my final court hearing he let me know what my Final plea agreement was and I was okay with it knowing a second offense was pretty serious. then the day of my court hearing he told me he was trying one last time for a better plea agreement, which was a surprise to me because I thought I was just going to court to sign my already good plea he got me. So i was sitting in court waiting and he came up to me and told me he did end up getting me the better plea agreement and I plead to a 2nd time extreme with 24 days in jail on work release. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome given the situation I put myself in. So with that being said, the previous post does not at all seem like my experience with this lawyer. reading everybody else's experience on this website was the reason why I chose him. I do not want that post to taint his positive reviews because he is completely worth the money.

Four months jail and a felony with another lawyer turned into 30 days jail and a misdemeanor with Brian

On March, 5, 2014 I was charged with four aggravated DUIs and was given a court appointed attorney lawyer. She was a private lawyer with a government contract, and did not care about me or my case one bit. She was very unprofessional, would not hear me out on my case, disregarded my family when I t...ried to introduce her to them, and without notice did not show up to a court date. She advised me to plead to a felony with 4 months jail without even investigating my case. I did not agree with my court appointed lawyer, and I sought out a second opinion from different attorney. I was referred to Brian Sloan. He was very professional from the start; took the time to hear and understand my case to then discover that I was not given an appropriate plea that was suitable due to my circumstances. He was very interested in helping me because I was given ineffective assistance from my court appointed lawyer. He said to me that he could not just sit back and watch me take a felony when clearly I should not be. Mr. Sloan took on my case, thoroughly went through my case with me and explained my charges and the accurate consequences for my actions to better help my understanding of what I was in for. Unlike my court appointed lawyer, Mr. Sloan was very up front and precise with my case. In a week, he was able to carefully cross examine the case and reduced the felony plea from four months in jail, plus more, to a misdemeanor plea with thirty days in jail and work furlough. I am very considerate and thankful to the fact he took on my case because he wanted to make sure I was given honest representation. I definitely refer him to anyone facing a DUI.

Mr. Sloan said I was innocent, and proved it in front of a jury. NOT GUILTY on all 3 counts

Mr. Sloan did an excellent job by guiding me through the entire criminal process, from initial consultation, all the way through the conclusion of my case. At each step, Brian clearly communicated all of my options, and offered his opinion on what he thought would be the best one. Mr. Sloan proved ...himself to be an intelligent and terrific litigator. His knowledge and comfort with DUI laws was a superior advantage in going through the process. From the very beginning Mr. Sloan told me that I was innocent. Although the prosecutor didn't agree, they were willing to offer a very beneficial plea agreement. Mr. Sloan recommended that we keep fighting, and he even did the trial for free because he so believed in my case. In the end, the jury came back NOT GUILTY on all counts. It was scary, but I rightfully put my trust into Brian. I cannot thank him enough.

I am so happy I hired Brian to represent my case

Brian exceeded my expectations with his flexibility and expertise in the services he provided. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to have had him as my representative for my case. The process was smooth and fast, which took a lot of stress off my shoulders. He was always available to answ...er any type of questions I would have. Through his hard work and dedication he was able to reduce a DUI into a reckless driving.
