Stellar Attorney

I spent months seeking an attorney for an extremely complicated case. Many dismissed me, stating that I simply have no arguments, that it is a difficult to case to understand, that I do not have enough evidence, among many other reasons. Bonner spent more than two hours meeting with me on a Zoom sess...ion for an initial consultation after having spent time reviewing the documents I sent him. He continued to update me after I sent him a comprehensive document detailing the case without my even having to check in. After spending more than six weeks evaluating the case and even reaching out to colleagues for further opinions, he clearly stated what hesitations he has regarding the case, unlike many others who left me in the dust, either never following up again and/or not fully doing their investigating properly, among many other reasons. Bonner stands out as someone who genuinely cares to help others who are undergoing difficulties. We discussed how the situation could potentially be revived in the future, and he even entertained the idea of helping me connect with a colleague of his if I continue to remain unsuccessful in my endeavors. He is thorough, approachable, and sincere. I wish I could give him more than 5 stars, he entails excellence and is truly a rare breed in the world that is consisted of consumer protection attorneys!

Great guy

He is awesome. Even though busy he is always responding to me immediately. Does what he says very quickly and goes even beyond. Absolutely would recommend him to everyone and though I hope not to need his services in the future he is the first attorney I would go to.

Will be reaching out to a different lawyer

I reached out in hopes that I would be able to have the same experience as others. I have done a lot of research on my vehicle it being 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe sport. I found him listed as a lawyer to consult if needing help with advice to the lawsuit back in 2021. My vehicle is involved in the lawsuit... and has had an engine replacement done prior. I would explain my situation fully but this would be an essay, long story short I reached out and wasn’t even able to even discuss my scenario fully without being rudely interrupted and asked questions, which I answered, but then was rudely told he has thousands and thousands of cases, I understand completely Hyundai has a lot of these cars so it’s expected, but then told me he took a week off [redacted] and unless I want to pay an hourly rate of $700 then he would be willing to listen to me. I insisted I could pay the $700 because I believe that I have a case and I have the money, my fiance is a driller in the mines for gold he makes over a 100,000 a year so we would be willing to pay for him as our lawyer if he had not treated me poorly after our first phone call. Completely understand that we all have bad days but to take it out on me [redacted] and that you have thousands and thousands of cases. You could be a lot nicer about it and say I’m going through a hard time right now and don’t have the time to take your case I apologize and I wish you the best. Then I could have gone my way nicely and wouldn’t be writing this review. Unprofessional I’m sure that’s not the case with everyone who contacts him and maybe I just caught him on a bad day but I was highly disappointed.

There are always two sides of course. I admit I was short and did interrupt, but that was how the conversation was from both sides. I probably could have handled it better. Missing details from the above are as follows: I explained to her what the class action covered, I explained its limited nature, the further limited nature of Idaho law for her situation, and covered issues she might see when having another attorney evaluate. She also fails to mention that she hung up on me during the conversation. I would say the bad experience for her was due to several things. I was having a bad day; our personalities simply clashed; and being told that I could not assist with the issues was unacceptable to her. Sorry, and I wish you the best with a challenging situation.

Fast responses, got the job done IMMEDIATELY

We contacted Bonner after we had a factory issue with my Hyundai engine.. He responded immediately to each and every email, provided me with very concise information, and he did not let us get taken advantage of by the car dealership! The dealership told me one thing which was not true, and he nipped... it in the bud right away! Because of him, they are taking care of an issue that they are REQUIRED to take care of without trying to hassle us. He was kind, prompt, and AMAZING. Thank you so so so much!

Bonner is amazing. If you have a lemon law, or automobile recall issue, don't hesitate to contact him!

I found Bonner because he was listed as one of the class counsel attorneys for the KIA Theta II engine settlement and I was looking for assistance/advice with the claim I had filed with KIA regarding my engine failure. Short story...in my opinion, and Bonner's, KIA failed my family in several ways, ...including some of it's direct obligations under the settlement, and was not compensating me in full for all of my "out of pocket, reasonable repair related expenses". Upon reaching out to Bonner, he was extremely generous with his time in contacting me back & letting me know the most efficient way for us to communicate, then all the way through the entire process all the way up to and including the BBB Arbitration process. Despite being an extremely well versed and thorough class action attorney, and therefore in VERY high demand and extremely busy, Bonner was always very prompt, polite, transparent, and helpful, in his communications with me. A few other reviews here accuse Bonner of being curt or impolite, well, let me tell you those folks are dead wrong in their interpretations. I found Bonner to be exactly the opposite, helping me when he really didn't have to and could have simply blown me off as yet another in the group of millions covered under the settlement who experienced issues with their KIA engines. The demand for Bonner's services and time simply require him to be concise, transparent, and direct to the point in his communications...as his extremely busy schedule demands. But let me tell you, despite his demanding schedule, Bonner was ALWAYS engaged when I emailed him, offering sound advice and guidance, and reviewing every piece of documentation/evidence I submitted to both KIA and the BBB throughout my case despite there being no billable hours for him, or other reason to be so helpful...other than trying to do the right thing for someone seeking assistance against a big corporate manufacturer who failed its customers. Unfortunately, due to the somewhat unique nature of my case (engine failed out of state and KIA never offered me a loaner vehicle, or informed me I was entitled to one under the settlement, causing me to incur huge rental vehicle fees they would not fully reimburse) the BBB, who clearly barely reviewed any of my documentation Bonner so clearly advised me on, quickly sided with KIA out of hand and I lost my appeal. HOWEVER, this is through no fault of Bonner's whatsoever, and in fact, he had advised me that this was likely going to be the outcome. Bonner remained steadfast and supportive in reviewing documentation and providing advice and assistance despite that outlook and the long odds. Bonner even emailed me afterwards and informed me what after-action items he was going to bring to the judge who presided over the original class action case, ensuring me he was going to use my poor experience with the BBB Arbitration process as grounds for future improvements for claimants in this and other settlements. Bottom line, if you have an issue that brought you here to review Bonner's endorsements, don't hesitate to hire him...he's definitely your Attorney. Thanks again Bonner, wishing you the best with everything!!!
