I am admittedly inexperienced in dealing with defense attorneys (thankfully), but Jeff immediately assuaged any anxiety or misconceptions I held prior. It was clear from moment one that Jeff showed compassion for my situation. I left our first meeting with clarity as to exactly what he could offer ...me as my attorney and for what cost. Ultimately the plea I accepted was a little harsher than I would have liked, but thus is life. This is an extremely scary and vulnerable time in your life, no matter what the charge. For myself I appreciated Jeff treating me like a human when other lawyers treated me like a paycheck. Jeff was understanding, and worked with my schedule to accommodate me. I also found Jeff’s level of education,... and relationships extremely comforting in my case. I received a ticket a few weeks ago for driving 20+ mph over the speed limit (careless driving- 6 point ticket- ouch!). The cop was incredibly rude to me; I was a bit argumentative and rude back at him. As you might imagine, the cop was thrilled to ticket me. As much as I wanted to fight the ticket, ...I figured it wouldn't be worth my time- I figured I had no witness on my side and no real evidence I could present against the cop.
