Russell Henry Thomas Lorfing

I cannot say enough about the positive impact that Russell has made on my life. From the first time I spoke with him it was evident that he truly cared about me as a person and was dedicated to helping me make the best out of a bad situation. I am currently a college student with hopes of applying to... medical school soon. I made a poor decision involving alcohol last semester and was facing an MIC misdemeanor charge. When this first happened, I thought my chances of attending medical school were gone. I had a very rough few days wrestling with the idea that all of my hard work thus far was for nothing. After speaking with Russell, I had full confidence that this incident was something that I could learn from and move past. Not only did he agree to represent me in my case although it was outside of his traditional type of practice, but he insisted that he do it free of charge. Despite his lack of personal gain from the situation, Russell was dedicated and responsive throughout this entire process. He was always happy to talk with me and answer all of my questions and I have always felt like I was his top priority when we were talking. Ultimately, we were able to get the charge dismissed and will soon be moving to expunge the record. Russell has gone above and beyond everything I could have expected from him and has allowed me to have new hope and confidence in pursuing my future education and career.

My fiancè was charged with a serious federal charge in Abilene and we needed an experienced defense lawyer to help us out . The lawyer he first had , was just very unexperienced and did not even want to try to help him out and said all he was able to get my fiancè was 13YEARS . I spoke to multiple... lawyers before speaking to Mr.Lorfing on the phone to try to get him better representation. Every lawyer i spoke to was just trying to sell themself to me and tell me exactly what I wanted to hear but not Mr.Lorfing. And I am so happy I did hire him because he is a team player and does not rest until he gets the best deal possible for his clients. He was looking at 13+ years , and now is looking at 5 years thanks to Mr.Lorfing that did not rest until he was able to get him something better . I live in california with a two hour time difference and he still manages to answer my calls or text to answer any questions i have . He also always keeps me updated without even having to ask which is very rare in many lawyers .He is one of the most kindest people i have met . My fiancè feels so much better that he has Russel by his side because Russel makes him feel more then just his client , he makes him feel like where family and he will do everything in his power to help .If you are second guessing about hiring Russel Lorfing don't because this law firm will do everything to help . We thought there was no hope for my fiancè and now thanks to Russel he will be home sooner then we expected !!!!!!!!

This was absolutely the best defense experience I have ever had with an attorney. Not only did he take the time to review my case he went above and beyond in the early stages of the case. As I write this review My experience with Mr. Lorfing isn’t over, but has already superseded my expectations. Though in life we shouldn’t have any. I have had to use lawyers in the past and for the most part it’s always a similar feeling of “this is just business”. Not the Lorfing firm. Russell does ...all he can to make sure you are comfortable and in clear understanding about what actions are being taken to defend your case. He pushes the limits of the law in the most adamant and humble way, to get the best result he can for You. Anyone questioning who they need to retain, you’ve found your answer.
