also known as Willhelm Law Firm
I began my legal career in 1992, as an insurance defense litigator. After three years of defending individuals and companies in lawsuits involving everything from a vehicle accident with exploding fuel tankers to toxic exposure in the construction of nuclear power plants, I switched gears to work with the largest bankruptcy law firm in San Antonio. During this period, I became one of the youngest board certified attorneys in consumer bankruptcy.
I moved to Abilene in 1999, when he was hired to operate and manage the local office of Monte J. White & Associates. Subsequently, I opened my own firm, the Law Offices of Weir & Willhelm, P.C., with the counsel of Woody Weir to expand my practice and represent my clients, who had come to appreciate and trust me, with other legal issues.
For the past twenty seven years, I have represented numerous clients in various legal matters from civil, criminal, disability, probate and other civil matters to bankruptcy and debt reorganization.
Presently, I own and operate the Willhelm Law Firm, and I am licensed in state and federal courts as well as the US Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States.

I rarely provide excellent reviews for anyone because it means I have to put my signature behind that person and be able to stand firm on my position regarding them: that's hard to do with most people in today's society. However, I immediately stood firm on my support regarding Mr. Willhelm becau...

I'll forever be grateful to Kevin Willhelm for his help during a very difficult time for our family. So glad to have another opportunity to say, "Thank you again, Kevin."
Thank you. I appreciate the opportunity to help you resolve your situation.
"I worked with Kevin when I was a federal prosecutor and I can tell you that the United States Attorney's Office always held Kevin in high regard due to his legal acumen and zealous advocacy. Not only is Kevin a brilliant lawyer, he is a hard working family man who lives by faith. I value our friendship and consider Kevin to be one of the best attorneys in Abilene."
"Kevin is a fantastic lawyer, and his paralegal, Amy Sims, is very sharp too. Between the two of them they have several decades of experience, and it shows. Kevin is one of a dying breed of general practice lawyers that have a working knowledge of many practice areas of the law - most lawyers "specialize" which means they may not be able to answer all your questions about how an outcome affects you in different contexts. My law firm works very close to Kevin's office partially to share in his vast knowledge and experience. I have worked with Kevin on the following types of cases: Bankruptcy, Deceptive Trade Practices, Family Law, Social Security Claims, Criminal Defense, appellate matters, and general litigation. Kevin regularly appears in various federal courts, state district court, small claims courts, and administrative law courts. He exudes a level of competence and professionalism that all lawyers should aspire to."
