Jason Goss attended St. Mary’s University – School of Law, where he graduated in 2009 in the top 5% of his class and earned Manga Cum Laude honors. After graduating, he began practicing law in San Antonio as a prosecutor for the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office. He served nine years as a prosecutor, giving him an extensive background and experience with high-profile cases.
Jason became a Felony Court Chief after just five years, among the quickest to reach such a position in Bexar County history. His drive, work ethic, and selflessness are qualities that rank him among the region’s premier attorneys.
As a prosecutor, Jason was responsible for the reindictment of Genene Jones, known as the “Angel of Death,” a San Antonio pediatric nurse who allegedly killed 60 babies at what was then Bexar County Hospital (now University Hospital of San Antonio) from 1980-1982. He also served as the lead prosecutor in the capital murder case of Taymor “Tay-K 47” McIntyre.
Like fellow lawyer Patrick Ballantyne, Jason is also Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. As a Board-Certified Specialist in criminal law, he has achieved what less than 1% of all lawyers in Texas have achieved; this represents his dedication to the practice of criminal law.

Mr Goss represented me in 2022 on a case I thought was going to be the end of me. I was so amazed at his professionalism, empathy and commitment to getting the best outcome. Do Not Look Any Further

In a world full of challenges aimed directly at our youth or young adults, we have never met an attorney so determined to ensure they have a successful life beyond their mistakes. My husband and I are great parents, yet our children still make mistakes and are up against a legal system not designed to truly help them. Jason Goss is the light in all the dark of legal ups and downs, especially with a very non-negotiable county. He is determined, honest, diligent, and relentless at protecting his clients. In my son's case, Jason treated him with respect despite his charge, was always available, responded to text nearly 24/7, and kept us in the know the whole way. Will be there when you need

Jason was there for me every court date even though court was 3 hours away from his home office he showed up on time wouldn't have made it through with out his confidence and expertise.

Excellent and a Blessing

I'm not inclined to go into specifics, but I was quite hopeless about my situation and Jason went above and beyond. He got my case dismissed without having to appear in court he also helped me with a PO with my children and husband and only got my children removed so I was able to see them again. He made sure I was comfortable and made sure I didn’t have to worry about anything. He mentioned to me that’s why I hired him for so he can worry and he’d fight for my rights. He’s a talented attorney and I'm monumentally grateful to have had his help.

Lucky and thankful

I enlisted the help of Jason Goss not knowing exactly what I would get from a lawyer. Not only did Mr. Goss help me out, he listened to my side of the story and my situation at the time and set me up for success, not only in the criminal aspect of my situation, but also in the mental health aspect too. I really believe that Mr. Goss truly understood what I needed and he delivered. I am really lucky to have gotten the outcome I got, and I do not want to let it all go to waist.
